Mr. Scott is a fine representative of the Osama Bin Laden wing of the democrat party. Thank you infidels for electing anti-americans like him to high office. I would like to add that you Virginian infidels have been doing a wonderful job lately by populating your senate and governor's chairs with true islamo-fascist supporters!

Yes Jim, there really IS a Santa...and he should toss Bobby Scott out on his ear, but we all know that aint gonna happen. This vote runs consistent with his previous wacko votes on the pledge, etc. Botton line is Scott has long since lost touch with reality and shoulda seen this one coming from a mile away no matter how fancy his argument was before the vote.

Now...lets also inject some truth into this situation. The vote FOR the resolution passed with 195 Dem votes but only 177 Repub votes. 21 repukes didnt have the guts to go on the record at all so they voted "present" or "abstained" from voting. The nerve! Where is the outrage against these evildoers? Lets toss 'em out THEN boil 'em in oil!

Oh...and Merry Christmas everyone!

Why does Scott hold his annual bash at his mother's house in the east end of Newport News instead of his house which I believe is in Kingsmill?

Yes indeed. It's as bad as dirtying God's name by putting it on currency.

They have no business wasting their time voting to recognize ANY religion but then it's really just a stall tactic to keep them from doing anything really usefull up there.

well I guess it's better than populating it with christian nut jobs like you who want to take away our first amendment rights. Let's see, If it weren't for jews like Haym Salomon bankrolling the American Revolution we'd have been screwed. Also have you ever even opened a Koran. In Islam, which is ac, Jesus, known as Isa is revered as an important prophet in the Islamic faith they're are several chapters devoted to the life of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, that are slightly longer than the gospel of Mark. Also if you decide to deem your name as Mohamed and pretend to be a Muslim maybe you should open that King James Bible you love so much and read about the death of Abraham...oh my gosh...you don't remember? Issac, the father of the Jewish religion buried with, oh my gosh...should i say or is the truth too hard to handle? He buried it with ISHMAEL...do you remember him? He is the father of Islam and also a son of Abraham. So before you make a judgement about someone why don't you crack open two books, the bible and the constitution. Be culturally literate before you judge someone.

What happened to seperation of Church and State? The non believers want to be heard by having no Christmas. Wouldn't that also be a display of their non-belief? They must feel very intimidated by Christ. DOn't you just love it?

Mr. Rep. Bobby Scott (3rd Congressional District) has forgotten who elected him into office. "WE THE PEOPLE" of the 3rd Congressional District of Virginia need to send him a message.

Not intimidated by Christ. He's a dead historical figure, and can't harm me. His followers, however, that's another story...

Should congress also pass a resolution recognizing the significance of superimposing Christmas over the Pagan winter solstice and the role of Egyptian worship of evergreens in the origin of our Christmas trees?
