What are the Guardsmen supposed to do?
Yell trick or treat at the rioters and expect them to surrender?
Rough treatment for criminals is a message that needs to be sent to the rioting ghetto dwellers.
I wholeheartedly agree!!!!!!!!!!

When they write and print their bias bs without knowing the truth.. When reporters do this they are inciting more trouble and become part of the problem or as I see it, the enemy. A good reporter will get all the facts before writing an article for print or news. I agree, get them off the street..

I respect Nixon for his service, calm demeanor and valid attempts to defuse the situation. However, despite his efforts things went back to riots, looting and burning. Nixon now needs the help of the National Guard. So he actually has the REAL military in town.
Perhaps his criticism of the Ferguson Police was premature, as he's now been forced to apply even more aggressive tactics.
Jay Nixon is a disgrace.

He is a pandering politician and an abysmal governor. His recent statement "a vigorous prosecution must now be pursued." Is another reckless prejudgement of a situation in which he does not have all the facts. None of us do at this time. Suppose, just suppose the officer's actions turn out to be justified based upon the still developing facts. How is this statement by this "pandering politician" going to be perceived? Do not make excuses for this fool. He knows nothing about controlling crowds of agitators and out of control protestors. He would be better off keeping his criticisms and prejudgements to himself.

They went back to riots because they are not dealing with the situation in a forceful enough manner. Shooting, throwing molotov cocktails, rocks, etc... and they are just standing by allowing this to go on. Many of those causing the problems are anarchists who came to town for the fun.

Sorry, the pussyfooting around is not working real well.

But now so many of the clowns have arrived at the big tent that they don't want to contradict their premature judgements and invalid observations.

As a result the mayhem continues.

Clue - It will continue as long as it is allowed to.

Its getting time to roll out the national guard in force! Let the police get back to the scumbag gang members. This has been such a waste of time and resources. The communities need troopers back on hwys and cops back in cities. Let the national guard deal with this!

Nixon, as well as other instigators in Ferguson and today, Eric Holder, are trying to manipulate the details in their favor. They are historically instigators, skewed in their views. They are not open to the truth or due process. They are attacking the prosecutor unfairly, accusing him of being biased because his father was killed by a black man years ago....they will attack anyone who differs from their biased views. The only racists in this matter are BLACK!

Another idiot democrat Governor is in charge now so the chaos will go on forever.I remember the words of democrat Mayor Richard Daly in the Chicago riots of the 1960s-"shoot to kill" looters. And the riots stopped. But we dont have that kind of reality based leadership anymore especially with democrats. The voters put that Governor in charge so now MO. will pay the price. And the chaos will spread to other cities and towns in MO. so long as it continues in Ferguson.
Yes it is true. Politics trumps common sense once again.

The Governor thinks the police were aggressive. Really? They aren't dealing with Boy Scouts. They are dealing with lawless, scum. I would like someone to step up, and tell me how they would like these destructive people to live in their neighborhood. There is no justification for this kind of behavior. Civilized people do not act like these people.

No news crew was attacked. The troublemakers were detained for a short time because they would not follow simple police commands.
CNN and Washington Post are both guilty of intentionally trying to inflame problems by posting the actual address of the innocent police officer, threatening his safety, his house and his neighbors. That is an example of the extreme irresponsibility of the total deterioration of journalism in this country. There were other sources also giving out sufficient information on the now proven innocent police officer, but not as egregious as CNN and Washington Post. At least those two sources need to have their so-called journalists targeted like they tried to do to the police officer.

Is it really justice the protesters seek?

Then why do so many demand a certain outcome?

An arrest before the facts are detailed and understood?

A prosecution (even the governor) before it has been determined that there are grounds?

It is not justice they seek.

They seek revenge.

Justice is a careful review of the developed facts, an arrest supported by those facts and ultimately a prosecution (or not) based upon the evidence.

Do not delude yourself. It is revenge they seek.

The Governor is back tracking on his call for quick prosecution even before the Grand Jury has had one meeting. He is a Democrat. What so you expect. He is another person without a clue of how he needs to solve the problems of his State.
