A Latino President?...no way!!...displaying the Mexican flag or celebrating Cinco de Mayo from the White House, isn't what the American people want to see...when Hispanics can finally bring themselves to honor OUR AMERICAN flag, and OUR AMERICAN holidays, and leave their former holiday celebrations where they came from...maybe some day.

I don't mind a latino or Asian President for that matter. I just hope it's not another one of those latinos which only wants to talk about their latino background and how it's makes them different then the rest of us Americans. I think where Obama succeeds is he speaks about the great things of being American which all of us can relate to. Never does he mention his African background or how being black makes him different. Latinos are so quick to pull out a mexican flag and wave it as if they are at war. It seems most Latino politicians like speaking about how being Latino makes them different than other Americans. You rarely hear Americans of European or Asian decent speak of anything but the good old USA. It's all about adapting and accepting that we're all just Americans, no need to separate yourself because your Latino.

How wonderful! Yet another racist speaker promoting a race-based election. I certainly don't want to see another election where a person's race was a major focus in their qualifications. We were so fired up about making history that racism became acceptable and required. How many voted AGAINST Obama because he was Black? How many voted FOR Obama because he was Black? Many were so focused on Obama's race (for or against) that other issues/qualifications were set aside in their minds. Now we want to focus on getting a Latino into that office because the person is Latino? Yet more emphasis on Race instead of qualifications, leadership ability or policy. For those who can't see this article as supporting Racism, simply substitute the word White where it says Latino. Then the ugly racist truth will sink in.

Latino politicians, more so than other politicians, are concerned only with themselves and their immediate families. This is the way politics works in Latin America and this is all they know. Look at how Latinos run their own countries, look at what their mere presence in the US is doing. They aren't capable of running a lemonade stand properly.
