better to ask about who is lining their pockets in "cow county" . last i checked within the carrollton village limits over 40 churches ? more corruptness in that little village and county than the other 87 combined.

I was glad to finally see someone speak out about this! I,and everyone in the family, always buy our gas outside the county. They lose out on alot of business because of their greed and so does the county, through the sales tax. The Auditor's office should do something, but they don't. They are lazy and only worry about their paycheck. But they won't get my sales tax money.

People have been 'speaking out' about this for decades. But people are still buying the gas; and actions speak louder than words.

Just filled my tank in Scio for $3.48 vs $3.68 in Carrollton. FYI

I'd pay the extra money if we could just get a few left turn lights in Carrollton? You know, those left arrows that let cars turn left so you don't have to run a red light after waiting for 3 cycles of lights.

I was told the Carrollton area is considered a resort asrea, with the lakes and other activities that go on here. Anyway I rarely buy my gas in our wonderful town.

It's because there are more poor
people that don't work compared
to those who work outside of town
and can get there gas cheaper.
They are just taking advantage of
those that are trapped and are on
welfare.

It's not just the price of gasoline in Carrollton. It's the price of everything . I buy nearly everything out of this county so they too are loosing my sales tax dollars . Wake up Carroll County people , if enough people make enough noise to the Attorney General just MAYBE someone will hear us . You know how it is " the squeaky wheel gets the grease " .

Min,
The Free Market Will Take Care Of Itself. If enough people are 'upset' they wont buy and the stores will go out of business. I prefer doing business locally, supporting family and friends. It's your right to drive to Canton or New Philly to make a purchase 'cheaper'; but is it really less expensive if you're driving all that way and need to stop for lunch while up there. It's your call. And Im sure the attorney general would think so, too. The Free Market--it's what makes America Great!

Oh and the "people who don't work" aren't taking advantage of the system?
There are plenty who take advantage of the system in Carroll County and cost the workers who can get their gas ON THE WAY TO WORK!

Be careful, Cwillison, Euro K2Me seems to think the price of gas is all a laughing matter; he/she must be one of the 200 new millionaires in Carroll County!

Well then you obviously misread my meaning. I think if you want to drive a distance to fill your tank..more power to ya! But people who complain about the price of gas in Carrollton and then keep buying it..thats just not very smart.

Euro K 2Me, When I first read your post above, I also thought you were being flippant, so I don't think I was the only one who took it that way! Regardless, the price fixing in Carrollton continues......

Boycott them by not buying their product. That's the only way they would understand our anger. I go to Canton or New Philli each week and I fill my tank there.

I just don't understand why ONE of the 5 stations in Carrollton doesn't drop their price 25 cents in one day. THEN, they would get all the business and force the other 4 to be competitive. The fact that they DO NOT do this is just more proof to me that it is PRICE FIXING!!!!
