THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION DOESN'T SAY MUCH ANYWAY.
THE REAL POWER IN THE U.S., THE CORPORATIONS, JUST MAKE UP THE RULES AS THEY GO ALONG NOW TO SATISFY THEIR PERSONAL INTERESTS.

If the Tea Party attains power then they will be just like the Democrats and the Republicans, lapdogs of the corporate elite, servants to the lobbyists who write all of our laws, Wall Street and the bankers.

They will just be public proxies, their offices will be theirs in name only, their decisions will look like theirs as they sign the paper just like the legislation they sponsor will be publicly played off as if it came from them as such documents do not contain the real names of the authors of the legislation.

That is why they use the word "sponsor" in relation to a bill or legislation. Think about it, a little light just came on. Big money, isn't the athlete are they, no, they "sponsor" the athlete which is why we need laws on the book requiring public documentation of who wrote the legislation then you can identify who is boss and who is servant, who holds the leash and who is the pet.

They will be taking orders just like the rest because they will not be in charge, nothing will change, besides, they are just repackaged Neocons, just a lot further to the right which is what makes them so dangerous.

You think things have been bad since Bush and Obama, ha, you ain't seen nothing until these Tea Party people attain power. Economic collapse and civil war will tear the U.S. apart which unfortunately is all prearranged regardless of who gets office.

If that weren't the agenda from behind the scenes then each successive election would not be driving our country deeper and deeper in that direction of a rabid police state since that path to follow has crossed the board of all administrations since Reagan.

If you believe every president since Reagan has been driving our
country further and further into the ditch, how does keeping the
incumbents in power in Congress make sense? Does your cynicism
actually conclude that it matters as to which corporations
hold the reins of power behind the scenes, writing bills for
politicians to "sponsor?"

Don't get me wrong. I'm not a Tea Party guy, but that does not
mean the Tea Party people have it altogether wrong. Is it wrong
to advocate fiscal responsibility? Would you approve of your wife
or husband or significant other running up your credit card debt
and feed her habit by asking for a higher credit limit? That's
what we are doing with our country. A baby born today has a debt
of about $45,000 on its head. How much more debt can we assume
before we realize we haven't just auctioned off our children's future, but have also surrendered our sovereignty to those hold the paper. Can you comprehend the leverage we have given China
by our refusal to face up to the fact that things can not go on
as they have?

Its time to take away the credit cards and take the keys out of
the ignition. Sure, we'll experience an economic slowdown of
major proportions, but do you believe we can escape that by running
up our debt even more? Tell me .... how does that work? I'd like
to know given that Christmas is coming and I have to choose between
what seems to be common sense austerity and telling my family to
go to the mall and have a grand time.

It is abundantly clear that the purpose of the amendment was
to assure that the federal government would not/could not
declare any one religious denomination the "state religion."
The Holy Roman Empire clearly abused its power over the
State, but so too did the State unduly interfere in the
affairs the Church. This amendment was to eliminate the
possibility of it happening in the United States.
Beyond this prohibition everything else since has been a
distortion of the intent. It was never the intent of the
Founding Fathers to prohibit the acknowledgement of the
role of religion in the life of the American people. The
amendment was to deny any denomination the ability to
assume precedence over any other.
Thank God there's at least one sane, intelligent individual on this forum.
Thank you for your post.

The problem with your post is that the Tea Party is not a political party and we have no politicians running on a Tea Party ticket.

The Tea Party is a movement comprised of citizen groups, of plain old, every day Americans who don't like the direction our country seems to be headed in. It is not even one cohesive movement and there is no leader of this movement. It's just millions of citizens, banding together to affect change.

"Can you be specific?" WHY OF COURSE, TRYING TO MAKE UNITED STATES-STYLE CAPITALISM WORK. IT'S SO DISCREDITED AND OBSOLETE AND DECAYED THE THINKING THERE MUST START ANEW.
