Okay you Repub wackos I'm still hung up on this NSA thing were you think they are listening to your calls and reading your emails. It's estimated there are 3 to 4 Billion calls and emails per DAY just in the US. If we go by the low 3 Billion and each is read or listened in on just for 1 minute that's 50,000,000 million hours per day. How many people does it take to listen in or read 50 Million hours of info per day?
Repub math.

They have the capabilities to listen or pick out specific words in more than that pookie. We are in the computer age you know. You have no clue nor do I of their capabilities. What ever we imagine they are way past that.

then why do they need such huge data centers with capacity levels that would make amazon jeleous? It has already been revealed by the guardian that they are recording calls and storing them and can go back at another time to listen to them. And all the justification they need is to think that you are 51% not american. So pretty much a flip of a coin..

Add that to the fact they we now know they are giving that info out to other departments for investigations that have nothing to do with "national security". And on top of that they are trying to hide where those "investigations" started as to not have to show the spying in a court. So i guess a right ot a fair trial is just another thing we need to give up to be safe from the terrorist boogeyman.

That means you are too stupid to really understand it.
It's a shame you couldn't do a synopsis of your propaganda for us.
You must be another dumbed down, public union teacher victim.
I don't blame you for being stupid and being a democrat.
I blame the public union teachers for the Great Dumb Down of America.
So you can quit embarrassing yourself, I'll tell you - I think he was being sarcastic and offering you a dictionary. Are you too dumb to get the joke, or too lazy to click on the link?

He misspelled the word "where" in the original post...but I for one didn't have trouble reading it. If you DID, then maybe you should try harder and use that dictionary?:)

Wow.
Are you that really dense or just that humorless?
It's a link to the dictionary, to help you with the big words in the post you couldn't comprehend.

Is it a coincidence that all these scandals went public in the months *following* the 2012 election?
None of this stuff (IRS, NSA, etc.) is particularly new, plenty of insiders knew about it a year ago.

The Patriot Act was just the proverbial foot in the door and EXCUSE & justification for the political establishment.

Anyone who thought intelligence would just be gathered on potential terrorist was/is extremely naïve. "Oh, if you aren't doing anything wrong what is there to be afraid of". Don't they realize how many innocent people are convicted of a crime and put on death row alone. Don't they realize with their private information in government hands someone will want to look it for one reason or another. The IRS scandal is nothing but a confirmation that the politicians will abuse their power with government resources.

Too top it off the NSA types along with a lot of other Americans only want to do there job under what they consider ideal conditions. They are lazy. They want their work product handed to them on silver platter. There is a reason they are or have been building these massive centers. They literally get new fancy gadgets and toys to play with. Their job might be made easier but our rights and privacy is that much harder to keep. It's all about them and their work. It's not about your security.

True enough. With the newest propaganda that that closed 19 of our middle east embassies, the threat is so strong and serious that Obama went to play golf, and three US Senators get on a plane and fly to Egypt, showing that the threat could not have been at the level they were attempting to sell us on.
