Not much of a choice, they could end it and spend the money to buy the info that they are trying to get from the private sector or they can agree to gather the date themselves.

Either way they are going to get the data that they want.

If they want my phone records, they need to get it directly from me through a warrant so that I know they are obtaining my information. None of this bulk crap. In addition, they need to notify every American who they have collected information from already from Facebook, Google, AT&T, etc. The NSA program was aimed at terrorists...NOT Americans.

This administration has been crystal clear that domestic terrorists are their direct concern and veterans, tea baggers and the opposition party fit the profile.

It's a loser either way. One choice is just more of the same word games, the second choice is the dismantling of civil rights in order to wage war on Islam.

Senator Feinstein, for an extreme liberal, certainly has no problem with spending government money on anyone who claims to bully Muslims. Gee! I wonder why?

It's time to put an end to the witch hunts, but it will obviously take a war, and probably a renewal of the Geneva code before the current generation of armchair generals will be put in their place.

The political doctrine of WW2 was to only accept total surrender. They thought that would be enough to prevent governments from pursuing selfish agendas. I propose that such is no longer acceptable. The aristocratic families that provoke governments into war should also be stripped of all their financial holdings and have them used to rebuild failed states.

Senator Feinstein, are you ready to put the family money on the line for your mission? I doubt it!

I wouldn't want to be Switzerland soon. Their sovereignty won't be worth beans once the new order comes about.

This is all a backhanded Socialist conspiracy headed by Obama to undermine US security and continue making us subject to other nations and the UN. Dissolution of US sovereignty is precisely what Obama wants and believes to his Communist core. He wanted to diminish US security and its military long before becoming President. He uses Snowden and the other queer to validate future actions of curtailing US power and interest.

..........You have disagreed with the great hidden power that controls obama, you are now a terrorist threat, they now have the "legal" reason to watch you! The senate Judiciary Committee has aquired a habit of "interpreting" the law as the way they see fit to suit themselves. There is no more serving the people, it's becoming enslavement though it won't sound like that "legally". They should all hang for treason.

Pfft...just further proof that right-wing extremism is an affront to our liberties. Obama needs to return to the center or even to the left on this issue instead of embracing right-wing ideals.
