Very well put and intelligently written! I applaude your effort to bring awareness to this issue and am glad that there are individuals out there who are not afraid to think and speak beyond the prescribed "norm". Heaven help us from the fools who rule us.

Why should the Navy, or anyone else, care what Ellen Taylor thinks when she takes the tin foil hat off her head. She also thinks that Meth is just fine. Who says drugs don't cause brain damage.

moved quietly over the last 3 years? where were you at the meetings held by NOAA in Eureka? did you respond to any of the multiple notices printed int he Times Standard? The numbers and doom being thrown around NOW are so bogus it isn't funny any more. get over it!

The article loses some credibility when it states that National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is funded by the Navy. NOAA falls under the Dept. of Commerce, not Defense.

I just read what a blogger wrote. under the other CCC article that NOAA (sorry I don't know what that stands for), but they granted the Navy a Permit to kill 11.5 Million Fish near coastal waters which are fishing grounds. Permit to murder, to test bombs, weapons that kill an entire web of life in the ocean, right off the coast of Eureka.
Sad and frustrating, is all I can say.
Nukem Umbadium is sure mean to people.
correction.
The estimated take is 11.7 million Marine Mammals, not fish. That's a whole different kettle of fish as it were.
