Apr 20, 2013 Full story: Reuters 72

we don't need regulations, or regulators.
we just need federal aid for disasters that were caused by the negligence of private corporations.

The Administrators in Texas are opposed to safety regulations and oversight of Industry.

I would imagine the decision makers in Texas are rethinking the idea of succession now that the State can't handle the recent events and catastrophe.

How is the State's response going? The last word is there was a media blackout in the disaster area, reporters are being denied access to report on the issues. Keep residents off television to shape the story as they deem fit to create some mythical perception.

You got it buddy.

In the brave new world of dystopian conservatism,
there are no such things as safety rules or inspections.
Just let the corporate heads be the sole judges
of what is safe for their workers.

Bingo! Deepwater Horizion.

If you knowingly keep an explosive device in a residential area, and your only motivation is profit, not intentional murder, are you a terrorist or just a capitalist?

Big Gubmint only wants to keep track of our taxes. To the penny. Something as huge as a 1350% oversite in hazardous material is not important to them when it comes to safety. Why do we even pay taxes if they can't keep us safe and do their stinking little piddly azz jobs right????? Don't wear a seat belt and they are right on you but a 1350% glut of hazardous material andthey don't get right on it.
They should call it Obama's Homeland Insecurity.
We are not safe with these liberals in DC. We are no longer safe.

I'm surprised BlueBonnies not posted yet as to how it's the cost of doing business, perfectly safe, reasonable risk or the MSM blowing everything out of proportion.

If the company disregarded warnings about the danger they are liable for everything that happened. They cannot replace the dead people, but the families can sue for every penny they ever have for the rest of their lives. They are ruined, because of their stupidity.

A. There is no talk of secesion from the majority of Texans, moron. You have people in your state that speaks of it. There is no medial blackout you lying scum..it's on CNN, Fox, MSNBC and others. There are bodies in the blast area and reporters are kept out of there only for now.

B. You're not a very good liar...

C. The states response has been overwhelming with money, blood donations, food, rv's and many other items for the town residents.

D. You're proof that scum liberals will use any tragedy for your propaganda....go outside to your sandbox and play go scrw yourself, boy.

Any tragedy for a pretend Marine to make dirty propaganda.....

The site was consistently checked by the EPA and recieved a warning citation in 2006 which was quickly repaired. This was a sad accident....not fodder for you sewer dwelling marxists propaganda. You and ex and crew float back down to the sewer and wait for the next one.

BTB, you're claim of the Boston bombers to be right wingers was also proven false...wasn't it?? You are a pathetic case of marxist mental illness, boy. Go back to shining shoes.

Ford Motor Co. agreed to pay a $1.5-million civil fine and $5 million in donations because of a February explosion that killed six workers at its Dearborn, Mich., manufacturing complex. Ford and the United Auto Workers union also released a report that said an accidental buildup of natural gas caused the boiler explosion at the Rouge complex. Fourteen other workers were injured in the blast. Separately, Ford reported a 7.6% increase in U.S.

Corporate terroists??????????
