I had known Chipper for 25 Yrs. Him and Etta together brought into this world 3 beautiful children, Brian, Kimmy and Jeanette. I am very good friends with Etta's mom Michelle Powers. Denise and Chipper had nothing together....Etta and Chipper had a history together that goes way back, so Melody, before You go talking crap You know nothing about...Get Your facts straight...Chipperloved Etta very much and did up to the day He died.
I was shocked to hear about Chipper's death when I went to visit Etta's mom Friday..
Chipper, Etta and the children will always be in My thoughts and prayers

I just read these comments about Chip. I don't know who is writing the comments about Chip and Etta, but I knew Chip very well and he and my daughter, Denise, were together for about 8 years, up until the day he died. He loved Denise very much and I never heard him say a good word about Etta, just the reverse. There are several people who can tell you that. He and Etta were never married, but he did tell me that he and Denise were talking about getting married.
Chip was a good kid with a heart of gold and we all miss him.

A kid? He was 41!!!!!!
Thats sooo funny Judy because last I knew you couldn't stand my dad, you didn't even want him with denise! He used to have to hide from you when he lived with her, he'd sneak out the back down by creek and then come to our house, lol! It's weird how you forget that he spent almost twenty years with my mom, three kids(by the SAME mom and dad), looks pretty clear to me! Did he have children with denise? Marry her? Or spend the majority of his life with her? NO!!!!! Thinks it's possible that you have no idea how my dad felt? That you really didn't know my dad? He knew denise since his thirties. He died at the beginning of his forties. He had a whole life before denise that you could never know. I love my dad. I love his smile. The funniest man Ive ever met!

oh wait... i guess you could know a lot about his younger years since you and your daughters robbed the storages of all his belongings!!!!!!!!!!
I guess the court case showed the kind of character you are and raised your daughter to be.

You people lied in court. No one took any of Chip's stuff from storage except for Etta & kids after he died. If Denise could have gotten her appeal it could have been proved that you lied. Like the jack hammer you had on your list.... It was never in storage. Chip sold that to Matt in Penn Valley before he ever rented a storage unit. There were many other lies that could have been proven too. Your lies will catch up with you some day. And did you know that when the kids would come and bang on the walls and ask to see Chip that he would hide from them and pretend he wasn't there. All the kids ever did was ask him for money constantly. He would be ashamed of all of you for what you did after he died. Chip & I had our differences at times because he was in a rut for a long time and maybe didn't always want to hear what I had to say, but we did get along right up until the day he died.
He and Denise were planning to get married in 2009. If he hadn't died they most likely would have been together more than 16 years. It is funny that he and Etta were never married and even thought I have seen her use that name when it was to her advantage, it was never her name. So just quit your petty crap and get on with your pathetic lives.

Judy, i don't know were you got your facts(probably from my dad which as you know didn't always tell the truth or your daughter who doesn't have the best track record in being honest either) but us kids were not always asking him for money. We were always asking to spend time with him. He's the one who thought that money made up for him not being around and he was wrong. You ask anyone! We wanted HIM not money. So you can go to hell because all any of us ever wanted was to spend time with him! We all loved him so much! and when i say "we all" i mean my family and yours. so can we all please stop saying hurtful things about each other. Its been over three years now and you'll probably never see any of us again. So you should get on with YOUR life. See how i didn't say "pathetic life" like you did. I'm trying to forgive and forget. You should do the same. I'm sorry. Gerald 'Chip' Bookout, my father will be forever missed!!! There is not a single day that goes by that i don't think about him. I'll never forget him!!!

Denise, Do you still have Woody and Tumbleweed? If so I hope they're doing good! I was just remembering the other day how every time I spent the night Tumbleweed would attack and rub his body and face on my head when ever I was sitting on the couch lol. I don't know if you remember. I know that me and my dad laughed every time.
