The county put a 1/2 percent extra sales tax on us years ago and said it was for emergency services. They also originally said it was for EMS.
My question - that tax is county wide so how much of that money went to the City of Ironton for emergency services? The city is struggling with all the state and federal cuts but I bet the county commissioners conveniently overlook giving Ironton any share of that money.
Ironton should receive some of that money since we pay the extra sales tax.
