I work 8 hours a day staring at a computer as a graphic designer. Every day my eyes are in pain and it's hard to focus. I found out that this is called Plesbiopia. Turns out it's not just me. The blue light emitted from the computer does this and leads to macular degeneration. Knowing that my grandpa went blind from macular degeneration, I think that it should be mandatory that if you work at a computer a certain amount of hours a day, you should be required to wear glasses that filter out the damaging light.

I obviously found out that there are glasses that filter out the harmful light, so I bought them. They were great because my eye-strain went away, but I couldn't distinguish hues as well. I did more searching and found that computer glasses with Melanin in them made it so I could distinguish the hues just as well as my naked eye could. And I don't look like dork with them on.

Let's save peoples' eyesight and get a regulation in place.
