A Claiborne County miner has been killed by falling rocks inside a Kopper Glo Fuel coal mine in the Clairfield community.

These mines have been operating unsafe for years. The United Mine Workers tried unsucessfully to organize the Kopper Glo in the early 90"s because of dangerous working conditions and unfair labor.
If the conglomerate miners had coperated this young man would still be with us today.
Pray for the family.
