Sooo WHAT does this mean..is it safe environmentally for all living creatures within the area if it stays and is re-opened as some kind of new business OR if torn down is it safe environmentally for all living creatures to breathe ANY toxins that escape a demolished building??

I am beginning to find it very interesting that a few months ago, there was a legal business proposed on private property that was not on or even in view of the Battlefield and national park, yet people from all over the country were weighing in, saying what goes on anyplace around Gettysburg is the business of anyone in the country, and that everyone has a right to say what goes on in the Gettysburg area, because “Gettysburg belongs to the nation.”

Now we have something that I actually on the National Park property, that does involve the nation, yet nobody is posting.

I guess this means, what someone wants to do on private property is open for the opinion of everyone, but what actually happens on national property that all tax payers are paying for, nobody cares.

Oh, I doubt very much nobody cares. You must remember this is Topix, not an influential site by any stretch of the imagination.
For the record, I have been against the destruction of the cyclorama and old visitor center from the start, but King Latschar wanted it so the dolts fell for it. He's long gone but his miserable legacy lives on.
Outta here till next week.
