No, It was the inbred snake handler KKK rubes of the Tea Party that have decided to hold the government hostage with a shutdown (just like they did under Gingrich and again in 2011) that caused all of that. It is likely that the only World War II cemetaries right wing congressmen be comfortable at would be the Yakusuni Shrine or Bittburg. The stupid GOP politicians had to leave the memorial because most people aren't stupid enough to believe their lies. The extreme right wing are losers- always have been and always will be.

Nope, sorry, this admin. ordered the shutdown no matter what spin you want to put on it. Fortunately for some, republican led states have ignored that order.....

The Washington Examiner is a right wing newspaper that delivers an alternative "reality" to make conservatives happy. They are the journalistic equivalent to Ludendorff's "stabbed in the back" myth - a lie that was spread in German right wing circles meant to deny the truth that France's Marshal Foch was basically more intelligent than his German opponents, outstrategized Ludendorff, caused Germany's Bulgarian and Austro Hungarian fronts to collapse and forced Germany to sue for peace because Ludendorff was to much of a coward to watch Allied forces invade Germany proper and admit the truth about how Germany really lost in front of his own peers.
You are being fed right wing propaganda and you don't even know it (unless you are being paid by "Heritage Action" or some other generic right wing group for spreading their talking points like Sean Higgins is). If you want to know the real truth, you should read "A Federal Budget Crisis Months in the Planning" (New York Times, October 13, 2013) for the real story of how right wing billionaire interests held a meeting on how to defund Obamacare and had been planning this act of extortion sabotage for months by using GOP congressmen to do their bidding. You are essentially supporting a right wing rich man's coup d'etat attempt against our republic which says if they don't get exactly what they want (election results to the contrary of their will be damned), they will attempt to destroy the US and world economy as an end result if they don't get their way. The only good point out of all of this is that 70% of the public rightfully sees the GOP congress to blame for this as well, meaning that a good deal of that mordern day klanbake caucus ( about as moronically right wing as the 1924 Dixiecrat MacAdoo/ John L. Davis supporters) will likely be voted out of office come next election.
