An increase in black bear sightings at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore has prompted warnings from rangers.

we have black bears all over the Sierras here and run into them without fail every time we camp/hike/backpack. Properly store your food and respect wildlife from afar. Can't stress it enough.
