How did the realty companies and commissioners push through the scenic by pass in this county. Instead of wanting tourist why not work to bring in jobs for everyone. Also will this new scenic by-pass raise land taxes?

I work on Mt. Mitchell. I know its not like this everywhere and I don't like that Burnsville is a tourist town either, but the more tourists we get up there the more positions they can fill. So it does create a few jobs.
