leave it to idiots that enjoy getting smash faced at the best free concert series in el paso that was once filled with families. great job lowlifes with 30 packs of beer for a 1.5 hr event.. give them a inch and they will take a mile... what a shame. hopefully the concerts will become a family event once again...

Instead of looking into precautions to prevent issues, they now will have less sales that day, less taxes for the city and less people going out that day. No wonder why this city is in slow motion. Some good things start up and get shut down cause idiots can't run an upcoming city. You deal with things not shut them down.

The underage drinking and excessive drinking made the atmosphere unsafe. The Park is only reacting to the behavior because they are liable. If you were throwing a party in your backyard imagine how you would react?

The line up issue is going to be problematic. The perception of no Noche Ranchera and no beer is going to rub the natives the wrong way. I hate to say it but all the people in charge are Anglo. Mcglynn,Hanlyn, Wilson and McNabb. This town is 80% Mexican and the cultural representation does not match.

That's a real problem El Paso

Agreed, no one will go now. Including me!
Lets admit it. Most of the acts sucked.
But chilling with your friends in a lawn chair and a couple brewskis on sunday night was very relaxing.

It only takes a few to ruin it for the rest, alcohol ban will teach em right and punish the rest.
So then why not let the spectators light up with some good cronic gunji instead and watch the difference on how people dont misbehave and act more like responsible adults.
Legalize The Good Stuff Now, Booze is Bad for You anyway,

Heres another one to maybe help with the under age drinking and rudely misbehaving drunks.
At the intrance of these events there shall be gaurd and signs that read.
sign #1: No One Under 21 Allowed.
We Check for ID's
that or
sign #2: Unattended Children will be sold as Slaves.

Smoking pot makes you stupid in the long run. Not just while you're doing it like beer. Although both alcohol and pot kill your brain cells, pot kills them more efficiently and makes peaddressed.

If you need beer or pot to feel good in life, then its time to admit that you have issues in life that need to be addressed.

You obviously you smoked soemthing other than pot so whats you excuse stupid?
Pot does not kill where did you get such paranoia stats?
Pot is actually good for alot of things and not just the natural high kinda thing.
Beer and all sorts of booze do kill, so do cigarettes, booze and cigarettes kill way much more combine than does pot and all world wars combined stupid.

I guess if alcohol is banned and no ranchera night then I'll stay home on Sunday's. Count me out of that 10,000.
