The Civil War is so hot right now. That sounds strange, but it's true. "The Conspirator," a movie about former President Abraham Lincoln's assassination, is in theaters.

A guide to the Civil War, For idiots, By an idiot.

This nation was founded on States' Rights, and those on the southern side fought to defend it. The North imposed backbreaking export taxes on the South, and sent Federal Troops to Charleston collect at the point of a gun, The very mirror image of what the British did to us in 1776.

A Civil War is "contention by two or more parties for control of a central government". We didn't have one of those. We had a war for independence for the South, and lost. It's only taken 150 years for them dumb Yankees to figure out they really lost the Second American Revolution, cause "We is all slaves now...."
