Bob Barr’s campaign—and the possibility of a revitalized national Libertarian Party—will likely have more of an immediate electoral impact than Paul’s did. The Republican Party, after all, is teeming with antibodies that have been able to fight off the diminishing libertarian virus within. Unless lightning struck, the heavens opened, and he stumbled upon the Ark of the Covenant, Ron Paul was never going to win the GOP nomination.

I Spent Years as a POW with John McCain, and His Finger Should Not Be Near the Red Button

By Phillip Butler, Military.com . Posted August 21, 2008.

John McCain is a long-time acquaintance of mine that goes way back to our time together at the U.S. Naval Academy and as Prisoners of War in Vietnam. He is a man I respect and admire in some ways. But there are a number of reasons why I will not vote for him for President of the United States.

When I was a... freshman) at the Naval Academy in 1957-58...John... lived directly across the hall from me...I would never...have dreamed that the crazy guy across the hall would someday be a...candidate for President!

John was a wild man. He was funny, with a quick wit and he was intelligent. But he was intent on breaking every USNA regulation in our 4 inch thick USNA Regulations book.....he barely managed to graduate...the main reason he did graduate was because his father was an Admiral, and also his grandfather, both U.S. Naval Academy graduates.

People often ask if I was a Prisoner of War with John McCain. My answer is always "No - John McCain was a POW with me." The reason is I was there for 8 years and John got there 2 1/2 years later, so he was a POW for 5 1/2 years. And we have our own seniority system, based on time as a POW.

John's treatment as a POW:

1) Was he tortured for 5 years? No. He was subjected to torture and maltreatment during his first 2 years...John allows the media to make him out to be THE hero POW, which he knows is absolutely not true, to further his political goals.

2) John was badly injured when he was shot down....this was often the case...it must be known that many POW's suffered similarly, not just John. And many were similarly exploited for political propaganda.

3) John was offered, and refused, "early release." Many of us were given this offer... I, like numerous others, refused the offer....we were bound by our service regulations, Geneva Conventions and loyalties to refuse early release until all the POW's were released, with the sick and wounded going first.

4) John was awarded a Silver Star and Purple Heart for heroism and wounds in combat. This heroism has been played up in the press and in his various political campaigns...there were approximately 600 military POW's in Vietnam...decorations awarded have recently been totaled to the following: Medals of Honor -- 8, Service Crosses -- 42, Silver Stars -- 590, Bronze Stars -- 958 and Purple Hearts -- 1,249...he was one hero among many -- not uniquely so as his campaigns would have people believe...95% of us had been tortured at least once... Succeeding as a POW is a group sport, not an individual one...John knows that. He was not an individual POW hero....surmounted the odds with the help of many comrades, as all of us did.

DO OBAMA OR MC CAIN SHOW ANY MERCY OR COMPASSION FOR CHILDREN ?

WILL THEY STAND AGAINST A GIANT?

WILL THEY DEMAND PEDOPHILE PRIESTS BE EXECUTED IN THE PUBLIC SQUARE?

WILL THEY DEMAND EVERY IDOL WORSHIPPING PREDATORS THAT AIDS AND ABETS PEDOPHILES BE BEHIND BARS FOR LIFE OR EXPELLED FROM THIS COUNTRY ?

WILL THEY SECURE OUR NATIONS CHILDREN FROM THESE VICIOUS PREDATORS?

IF THEY HAVE NO SENSE OF JUSTICE, ARE SO VOID OF MERCY FOR CHILDREN, HOW WILL SUCH A CHRIST-LESS REPTILE DEAL WITH YOU?

He will rape the american people whenever he can.. or wink when his predatory buddies do. Such a person is past conscience, and become a sniveling manpleaser who quivers before the sodomite cult because of the mafia massive size .

Every light and dictate of natural light given by God extinguished. He has ceased to be human and become a viper. Even a herd of cows will glorify God by protecting the young.Such a candidate is a sniveling coward..a beta dog.. A fear biter.

The revelation that NAMBLA priest Paul Shanley raped several young boys has been made even more scandalous by evidence that Cardinal Law sheltered him from detection

At the time of his death in October 1997, ten-year-old Jeffrey Curley of East Cambridge, Massachusetts, had known his two adult "friends," Charles Jaynes and Salvatore Sicari, for several months. The two adults enticed Jeffrey into a car, promising him $50 and a new bicycle if he joined them for a ride. Shortly thereafter, the two homosexual "lovers" attempted to rape the child, who resisted with everything his tiny frame could muster.

As a subsequent criminal trial showed, Jaynes -- a 300-pound auto mechanic -- subdued Jeffrey by sitting on him; he then suffocated the tiny child with a gasoline-soaked rag. Once the child was dead, Jaynes and his cohort raped the now-unresisting body. Their depraved appetites satiated, Jaynes and Sicari placed Jeffrey's body in a concrete-filled barrel and discarded it in a river. The car in which these unspeakable crimes were committed contained pornographic literature produced by NAMBLA -- the North American Man-Boy Love Association, a criminal syndicate composed of homosexuals who prey on young boys.

According to attorney Lawrence Fisoli, who represents Jeffrey's parents in a lawsuit against NAMBLA, the pederast organization trains homosexuals to stalk, seduce, and rape unsuspecting boys. As Father Enrique Rueda documented nearly two decades ago in his prescient study The Homosexual Network, NAMBLA "was founded in 1978 at a Boston conference on Man/Boy Love and the Age of Consent." In addition to publishing three journals, the organization created a "Prisoner Support Committee" and "Emergency Defense Fund" to aid homosexual child rapists in trouble with the law.

But Fr. Rueda's most shocking detail about NAMBLA's founding conference was the involvement of "Father Paul Shanley, representative of Boston's Cardinal [Humberto] Medeiros for sexual minorities...." According to an account of the event published in a magazine called Gays Week, Shanley spoke of a case in which a young boy enticed into a homosexual relationship "was rejected by family and society but helped by a boy-lover." Imprisoning the predatory adult homosexual, according to Shanley, "began the psychic demise of that childDocuments recently released by the Boston Archdiocese disclose that Shanley "admit[ted] to the substance of complaints -- sexual activity with 4 adolescent males...." In fact, the archdiocese had known of Shanley's predatory perversion for decades -- but continued to assign him to posts in which he had access to potential victims. "All of the suffering that has taken place at the hands of Paul Shanley, a serial child molester for four decades ... none of it had to happen," insists attorney Roderick MacLeish, representing alleged victim Gregory Ford

Obama's half-brother to Vanity Fair:'No one knows I exist'

Obama's half-brother calls a shack home and lives on less than $1 a month

http://www.suntimes.com/news/politics/obama/1...

The photograph shows a young, unsmiling man standing in front of a jagged fence built from scraps of timber and rusted bits of corrugated metal.

The 26-year-old man is outside his shanty home on the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya.

He survives on less than $1 a month.

He says he is Barack Obama's half-brother.

"I live like a recluse," George Hussein Onyango Obama says in an article published in the latest edition of the Italian-language Vanity Fair. "No one knows I exist."

While the junior Illinois senator is plotting a course for the White House, his half brother lives in an African shanty, the article says.

Barack Obama has written and spoken often about his Kenyan roots and his half-siblings.

In the book Dreams from My Father, Obama identified eight half-brothers and sisters from four other marriages or relationships of his parents. George was the youngest, the only child of Obama's father and a woman not named in the book.

Barack Obama wrote of a brief meeting with George during a trip to Kenya in the late 1980s. The visit outside the boy's school "turned out be a painful affair, arranged hastily and without the mother's knowledge." Barack Obama described a "handsome, round-headed boy with a wary gaze."

George Obama says he was that 5-year-old boy, according to the Vanity Fair piece. George Obama says he remembers little of the meeting.

George Obama says he again saw his famous half-brother two years ago, when Obama traveled to Africa with his wife and daughters.

"It was a short meeting," George Obama recalled. "We spoke to each other. It was odd -- like meeting a stranger."

Barack Obama's campaign had no comment on the Vanity Fair piece.

Based on the article, it appears George Obama has more pressing concerns than his half-brother's presidential bid.

George Obama showed the Vanity Fair reporter the inside of his tiny shack, which contains -- among other things -- two Italian soccer posters, an old beach-scene calendar and the front page of a local newspaper with a photograph of Barack Obama on it.

George Obama says he leads a hard life in a community rife with violence. He talks of people being hacked to death with machetes. He says the police don't bother to arrest people -- they just shoot them instead.

He says he's seen two of his friends killed. He says he has scars on his skin from fighting.

"I am good with my fists," he says.

Ron Paul is much better than Barr and McCain. Too bad he is not the libertarian candidate. But there are too many varieties of libertarians, and they are bound to be in little groups fighting for power - to lead in the advocacy of freedom and individualism. Doesn't that strike you as a little odd and self-contradictory?

The irony of your statement is that you are an Obama supporter, and Obama's political core (Socialism) is in direct opposition to what Ron Paul and/or Libertarianism is all about.

First off, there is only ONE true Libertarian ideology, and it was founded by Ayn Rand. You can learn about it by reading "Atlas Shrugged". You should read it. Your view of the world will be forever changed.

There is an off-shoot group that calls themselves Social Libertarians, but that is an Oxymoron. Ayn Rand was an immigrant from communist Russia and she despised Communism-Socialism. Socialism & Libertarianism is like oil & water. They don't mix.

Second, Ron Paul is a Libertarian, anti-monopoly capitalist & anti-Socialist. He goes a step further, in that he knows how much this country has been subverted by Socialist AND their unlikely enablers in International Banking (such as Rothschild, Warburg) & Monopoly Capitalists (such as Rockefeller, Morgan).

Ron Paul is best understood by the books and documentaries of G. Edward Griffin, who has been his "right hand man" throughout the campaign - and them some.

PS - The biggest mistake we are making, as voters, is to be manipulated into voting for the "lesser of 2 evils".

The Power Brokers are behind Republicans & Democrats. They are 2 sides of the same coin.

This is the year I realized the power of fear, and how it is used to manipulate the masses.

You may think you are not voting out of fear, but when a person compromises and cast their vote against the one they think would be worse - they ARE voting out of fear.

The best thing that could happen this year is if EVERYBODY who is not satisfied with the 2 candidates voted for someone else. ANYBODY.

Think of the message it would send if the evening news has to report that 65% of the voters chose someone OTHER than Obama or McCain.

We the people have been given "no choice"! Voting for the lesser of two evils is essentially the same as no choice whatsoever. The "powers that be" have an agenda and I fear that agenda has nothing to do with the problems we are facing. These "problems" will not be addressed with either Candidate. Healthcare!!!!! More and more companies are unable to offer healthcare as a benefit to their employees. Children, young adults, elderly and anyone that is not a part of corporate America are suffering! People with health issues that make them unable to work are unable to get public assistance because the system is overloaded with illeagal immigrants and people taking advantage of our system. If these people were able to get help when they need it, they would be able to become a productive part of society once their health mental and or physical issues have been addressed. There are many other issues as well, too many to go into. What can we do? We need to do something! Voting is our right as a citizen! I urge those of you who feel we do not have a choice to demand to write in your choice on the ballot this election and truly excercise your right to vote. Demand the right to vote for who you want instead of being told who you can vote for. I feel cheated!
