Every serious study has shown that gun control laws do not reduce crime. Unfortunately, a liberal is someone who needs to 'feel good and look good' about solving a problem.

Liberals are supremely indifferent to any need for the solution to actually work. Diane Feinstein, anyone? Nancy Pelosi?

No, you can't lay a bet with a "if I don't win then I'm not playing".

You either accept a professional report or not.

And I realize you paranoid poor little weak conservatives are always being picked on by those mean ol long haired hippies, national news outlets, colleges and universities, professors, liberals, judges, communists, socialist, teachers, public figures, etc.

Not true, in Missouri since the concealed and carry the gun crime has increased twenty five percent.

In fact that report was announced yesterday on the news here.

<quoted text>How about we just ban the people that do the abortions? Murder is murder no matter if the victim is a defenseless baby, or some "school children" sitting in a classroom in a "gun free" zone. At least the "school children's" parents didn't decide to off them before they had a chance to be born. You liberals leave that task to the mentally unstable, who get to live among us because they have "civil rights" bestowed upon them by the kind, caring and feeling loons at liberal organizations like the ACLU.
And I'd wager if you believed the ACLU would defend you on a legal matter you would be crying at their door asking for assistance.

Just like oxy-rush limbaugh when he begged that organization to come to his defence.{Did the ACLU help Rush Limbaugh} Yes.

Right, you most likely would have pushed for bush to have finished what he started.{Great Recession and many in the know who predicted his reign would have created another Great Depression if given the time}

And I realize you republicans are so senstive and shudder to hear that four letter word. bush

I heard it on the local radio news this morning, I'am still looking for a web source.

I thought at the time the percentage was high, but I heard it twice.

I'll keep looking and get back.

What a bunch of bull. Limbaugh never asked for their services. They took it upon themselves to intervene. Why? Because the case had national media attention and that does the ACLU a world of good. Now if Rush was a nobody from farmersville somewhere, the ACLU wouldn't have looked twice into the matter.

Allow me to help.

According to the report, the increase of crime is not because of CCW permits, it's because of loosened restrictions on obtaining and carrying a firearm.

Like other civil liberty case's which is not usually a rich man's cause.

Did ol oxy-rush deny their help?

Most organizations do look for "world of good" procedures, you seem that being a detremental aspect to any progress or benefits.

The ACLU takes cases that others can't afford such as taking an issue right up to the Supreme Court which costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. Rush has more than enough money for his lawyers to fight it all the way. Like I said, the ACLU found an opportunity to get their name out once again. They are stigmatized as leftists and Rush was an opportunity to make them look less bias.

Try calling the ACLU yourself and see what kind of action you get. I did. I contacted them about a forth amendment issue I had with my city. There was no publicity in it for them, so they told me "good luck."

You loons like to assume a lot to hide the stupidity that you exercised by putting a do nothing know nothing man in the highest office in the land. I hope you need an operation soon, but you'll probably call a plumber. By the way, Bush did a lot of things wrong and was a Rhino in Coservative clothing. From Clinton, Bush and now Obama they have collectively ruined this country to push their progressive one world order. Unless this country unites and takes back the government we need, it won't matter if Obama or Bush is president, either way we're going down.

Did he ask for it........no he didn't. The ACLU is a communist liberal organization of lawyers. In other words, they are their to restrict religion, rights and capitalism.

Nope civil liberties, now I realize conservatives do not agree unless it involves them since they believe everyone should be paranoid losers!

So, you believe everyone should be forced to have a religion, perfect example of a conservative. Even those who have been abused and tortured by priests.

You would fit right into some uncivilized middle east countries, or as a matter of fact a great number of conservatives would.

<quoted text>So now, do you believe those "surgical instruments" that are used to kill babies {abortions} should be banned?
The point I was making was since some folks misuse firearms to harm and kill the same as some doctors use surgical instruments to kill babies should legitmate firearm owners and doctors not be able to own/posses the" tools" since some misuse them? Surgical instruments can be used to save lives or misued to kill, same thing for a firearm.I am pro life but if one wants to have an abortion that is between them and God.I think if someone wants to have abortion THEY need to pay for it and not be funded by taxpapers.

An average female will be knocked on her arse by the recoil of a 12ga shotgun.

An AR15 can be shot by an average female and she will remain standing.

Biden is either real stupid OR jokeing about his recommendation that women should get a 12ga shotgun for defense.

Knowing Joe's history I'd say he is stupid!!

With the looming economic crisis, again, why are the Leftists going after guns, especially long guns, so hard now?
There have been plenty of daily stabbings, beatings, shootings(99% illegal pistols) especially in the Liberal Leftist controlled cities for years, but nothing effective has been done there, the violence has increased in those areas, especially where there is strict gun-control and people have traded their rights for "security". I believe it is time for personal responsibility to be put back in the front seat. The Leftists have been waiting for a crisis that would enable them to enact more onerous gun control. Some have even been complicit in manufacturing and hyping up incidents.

I believe it was Ben Franklin who said if one gives up their freedom in exchange for security, they will have neither.
