So if they can't work how are they contributing or paying taxes to things like workmens comp, unemployment, ss etc. Yes it's the government's bad for not following up on expired visas which has caused problems before. But why does the government do little with expired visas, probably because at onetime they tried locating these individuals to no avail or they tied up deportation in court for so long it wasn't cost effective. Now it is a different story.
That's why the government has to have a solid and clear plan to fix these issues by either deport them or offer them a way to integrate legally in the US society and economy.

These are people who were living in very poor conditions in their country and it was worthy for them to take the risk and come here illegally.

It's US fault it has not taken action to stop them or not to deport them.

If you were born in those poor areas in Mexico you would have done the same.

Now this is a big issue and it has to be solved somehow before it grows bigger and bigger.
There are millions of immigrants living under the same conditions in other countries so what's so special about someone that can wade or walk across our borders?

How many plans do you want to give them?

"This amnesty will give citizenship to only 1.1 to 1.3 million illegal aliens. We will secure the borders henceforth. We will never again bring forward another amnesty bill like this."

Everybody agrees on the fact that USA has a huge issue with illegal aliens and that needs to be addressed as soon as possible before it doesn't gets bigger.

One way to tackle this issue is to deport all the undocumented immigrants but the cost would be way to high and it would also take a very long time to accomplish it.

And this would also trigger a big economical fall as many companies would go bankrupt and it would have a domino effect on all the sectors.

For example more than 90% of the people who work in the restaurants in NYC are illegal immigrants and if you deport all of them the city would be paralyzed as you can't find people to replace them right away.

So my theory is that these people are so deeply involved in US economy that you can't just really remove them without catastrophic effects.

The government knows this and that's why they don't even take into consideration this approach.

Either way the government has to step up by having a clear solution to this issue.
The question was:

"So what do you base your support of illegal aliens on?"

Well, try to call the INS to report the illegals who work in your area and see what they tell you.
Judging from your posts you've never called I.C.E. so how would you know?

XXI CENTURY THINK TANK

1) Amnesty is a part more important of organize and aplication of law enforcements of a governamental institution then:

A) undocumented have many good people in their group and many want do their register and background check, without fear to be jailed.

B) many undocumented will not do their register and background check, because something is wrong. And governamental institution will be there to check this out , and they will find out what is going on. Maybe criminals or a stupid who do not know how to write their names, and they will avoid the opportunity.

C) many american citizens have the same tools that undocumented have to find a job.

" FAKE DOCUMENTS " ( to get a job, do not pay tax and get benefits ), and they collect
benefits from a local gorvernament .

And their real " SOCIAL SECURITY" is just to collect unemployeds of benefits.

Finally AMNESTY MEANS LIKE JESUS SAID:

The Parable of the Weeds

24 Jesus told them another parable:“The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said,‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

28 “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.

“The servants asked him,‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

29 “‘No,’ he answered,‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”

Attention Republicans, true Americans and those who feel contempt for the illegal alien sub-human invaders of our country (wetbax can read this, too): There will NEVER, let me repeat, NEVER be amnesty our a path to citizenship for the turd devouring Mexicans and their ilk. NEVER. The people of America won't stand for it and it will not get through the House. Ever. The so-called Hispanic vote that gave Obozo his victory is BS. Hispanics don't vote, too lazy, drop out of high school, have illegitimate children (more than one) and 49% get some form of welfare. THEY WILL NEVER VOTE REPUBLICAN EVEN IF RUBIO GIVES EACH ONE A BJ (not entirely out of the realm of possibility). Republicans know this (ask Ann Coulter) and are not going to allow 20 million uneducated, vile, lying and stealing useless peasants into the US. ROUND UP, VIOLENTLY IF NECESSARY, AND DEPORT THESE GREASY SCUM.

For many years I was here " TOPIX IMMIGRATION FORUM " and many of you said " deport, deport , deport..." And now what we see:

Republicans do not have received enough credibility in their legislative body by the American voters, and democrats are more volatile to deal with this matter.

Republican can not offer human solutions for this domestic issue (11 million undocumented people ).

now Republicans need reorganize their base after Amnesty bill be sign, and open opportunity for young republicans and their vision about NEW AMERICA.

DWG, why do we need a humane solution to the immigration problem? Do the illegal aliens hesitate for a second to consider whether or not to steal someone's identity and cause years of chaos to his or her life? Do the Mexican gang members hesitate for a second to shoot American blacks, sometimes innocent children, who wander into their neighborhoods? Do they hesitate to not drive drunk or rape or steal or lie and cheat to get government benefits? Of course they don't. They always claim to be hard working family people, but they are criminal, conscience-less scum who think they are above the law, who believe being illegal is a license to do whatever they want. They will not be good citizens because they are lowlife turdballs. They WILL NEVER GET AMNESTY. We don't need a humane deportation system, we need the type of deportation system the Mexican government uses....midnight raids, beatings and property confiscation. Deport, deport deport as you said.

DWG wrote: today you do not need human solution for undocumented people in this country you need a computer solution.

Nobody in this country play by the same rules because you can not implent tecnology in your favor, once you Mr. Voter fail to deal with this issue around 27 years (1986-2013).

Now you have around 11 million people inside USA , and you can not deport them, because here is a democracy land, and 2012 election was the human side of this little LAND, GOD BLESS USA.

After amnesty you can use your computer solution to stop american companies to hiring undocumented if you did your home work SAM

"The Court essentially stated that the status of the parents determines the citizenship of the child."

"Supreme Court decisions:

The correct interpretation of the 14th Amendment is that an illegal alien mother is subject to the jurisdiction of her native country, as is her baby.

Over a century ago, the Supreme Court appropriately confirmed this restricted interpretation of citizenship in the so-called "Slaughter-House cases" [83 US 36 (1873) and 112 US 94 (1884)]13. In the 1884 Elk v.Wilkins case12, the phrase "subject to its jurisdiction" was interpreted to exclude "children of ministers, consuls, and citizens of foreign states born within the United States." In Elk, the American Indian claimant was considered not an American citizen because the law required him to be "not merely subject in some respect or degree to the jurisdiction of the United States, but completely subject to their political jurisdiction and owing them direct and immediate allegiance."

The Court essentially stated that the status of the parents determines the citizenship of the child. To qualify children for birthright citizenship, based on the 14th Amendment, parents must owe "direct and immediate allegiance" to the U.S. and be "completely subject" to its jurisdiction. In other words, they must be United States citizens.

Congress subsequently passed a special act to grant full citizenship to American Indians, who were not citizens even through they were born within the borders of the United States. The Citizens Act of 1924"

Look... as of right now... an illegal immigrant mother gets 18 years of welfare for their American born children. As soon as these illegal alien mothers become legal and able to work, they're thrown into work programs and time limits for welfare. It's all outlined in the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (PRWORA).
What you're doing here is instilling fear based on conjecture as well as presenting some insane theory of some 2 class system of us and them.
I'm not crazy about giving illegal aliens citizenship, but I am open to giving these people paths to legal status and work permits so that they can pay taxes.
Just think about it, if an illegal immigrant mother and father of 3 US born kids become "Legal", they now get to work legally, even it it's minimum wage for the rest of their lives, the important thing is that they're also putting an end to their welfare mooching becuase ways unbeknownst to them... they're surrendering their 18 years of welfare for their US born children and the father is subject to pay child support which will lower any welfare the mother and children might get. Even if the father hides... mom is limited to a time limit as all legal residents are.
So to say that the taxes they pay will be miniscule is moot as not only will these future Americans pay taxes... they'll be weaned off the welfare dole which exponentially lowers their use of welfare services. Since they'll be subject to time limits... their not going to be able to mooch forever.
If these illegal aliens are given citizenship chances are they are no more than high school grads in low wage jobs which means they will be drawing more benefits then they pay in.

Less than 10% of 4th generation Mexicans finish high school.

Soccer also known as Futbol is one of the worlds oldest sports. It's so popular worldwide that it's played in the Olympics also. You cannot say that about Football or Baseball.
It's popular because all you need is a ball and a net and that's all poor countries can afford. It is a gay sport, that's why women play it.

I like football because it incorporates everything. You can run, pass a ball, catch a ball, kick a ball, run with a ball, run after who has the ball, throw the ball.

Soccer is just too slow and boring. Hispanics are too slow, weak and not smart enough to play football.
