LOL !!!! dont be stupid this poll is one sided to make people think they wnat them here truth is I guessing it s like 97% of the population . but latinos will support illegals as they may be family unless they are going to loose their job to one .

What lies ahead? First, they're will not be an amnesty or green cards or a path to citizenship for these lowlife liars, thieves and cheats. I predict more anchor babies, more crowded schools, more hospitals forced to close, more welfare and income tax fraud, more violent crime, more dead Americans killed by drunk drivers and, of course, more demands, more threats, more false accusations of racism and more of that vulgar language, Spanish, everywhere until Americans rise up and stop waiting for politicians to throw the illegal alien garbage out of this country and take matters in their own hands.
So another twenty years of this crap. Were ready to pounce on North Korea to defend South Korea but not our own country.

imagine a scenario where usa citizens are forced to support 50+ MILLION illegals with food, jobs, healthcare, education.

that is what will happen if there is another amnesty.

mark my words.

The polls says that only white and uneducated people are the only people against amnesty. why dont we just fire all bp agents, immigration enforcement and eliminate any law that protects the citizens of this country. this country will be talking about another amnesty in 20-25 years for sure,if this bill passes. the enforcement part of the bill will be taken seriously the first year or so just to save face and then back to cutting border protection budgets and not punishing employers who hire illegals.

As long as the proponents of illegal immgration free-for-all can keep the image of the face of opposition to their cause one that is an 'old, white male' they can continue to scream RACISM and cause many to simply disregard the cries of the opposition. However, the fact of the matter is that the TRUE FACE OF OPPOSITION TO ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION FREE FOR ALL IS ALL DIFFERENT COLORS OF U.S. CITIZENS! Personally, I am an American of African descent (African American) and I communicate with many others - all different colors and cultures who oppose the illegal immigration shamnesty! Do not allow yourselves to buy into this. Sane U.S. CITIZENS oppose illegal immigration and their outragious claims to rights of our children, not just white men.

"The study’s stark revelation is that the whiter the person polled and the lower their education, the more negative their attitude toward immigrants and immigration – and the more false their assessment of each."

First of all, are they kidding? They actually think that all will be well and the clouds will part as soon as they get the rednecks to accept illegal aliens...and then all will be well, America will be led by Hispanics, the best of all worlds...NOT!!!

I am not white! I am educated! I am so opposed to illegal aliens receiving ANYTHING!!!! We owe them nothing!!!!

What no one mentions is the fact that if we grant this group ANYTHING, a new line will be forming and the illegal alien thing will begin again, and again! As oppose to if we enforce our laws blindly, internally, we will only have to do it once for them to get the message!!!

how about a poll starting at the unemployment offices, ask those standing in line for the next job if they are ok with illegal aliens getting the next job as they stand in line.

I just read an interesting article referring to the changing geopolitical order due to the oil and natural gas boom here in the U.S., among other oil formations the Eagle Ford formation in Texas (which reaches into Mexico) and off shore drilling which produces much oil on the U.S. side but not yet in Mexico will result in Mexico being in position much like Russia,Brazil, India, and China as being a fast developing economy which would result in far less immigration from Mexico....perhaps things will take care of themselves as Mexico's economy improves over the next decade or so, lets all hope.

i still don't think that will keep them there or get those here to leave unless mexico decides to support them like we do here.

there is said to be a farm labor shortage, yet the news just said in town in western fresno county unemployment is 40%,in a few week they will once again claim labor shortage, just like they do every year for over a decade.

Seeing as we can't afford these people or their kids, total collapse will probably follow. Politicians can't see past their noses and their pockets.

I still haven't heard one good reason for this amnesty. Democrats know they will get more votes and Republicans stupidly think they will get more votes. This is a vote issue for these two defective parties. Neither one can say one good thing an amnesty will do for this country. They might as well turn Pelosi loose again so she can say something like, "We have to pass this amnesty so we can see how it will work". Amnesty will create a permanent unemployed underclass in this country. That's dangerous.

The really really stupid part about this whole thing is that all Repubs are doing is getting votes for Dems!!!!

What Repubs don't realize is first of all, there are more of us than Hispanics. Second, Americans will have a great amount of respect for the party that doesn't pimp and pander to an UNAPPRECIATIVE SPECIAL INTERST GROUP, and just stands up for what's constitutionally right and in the best interest of the American people...that's all they would have to do!!!

I agree 100%. They look like weasels and will probably lose more American voters than they gain in Hispanic voters.

Why Comprehensive Immigration Reform Will Help

Comprehensive immigration reform helps families and strengthens communities.
PROBLEM: Approximately five million American children live with at least one undocumented parent.

SOLUTION: Require undocumented individuals to come forward and register with the government, pass a background check, pay fines and back taxes, and demonstrate proficiency in English. Upon completing this process, they could work and live legally in this country, and eventually apply for permanent residency and full citizenship.

Comprehensive immigration reform helps workers.
PROBLEM: Workers in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles have lost $56.4 million/week in labor law violations. U.S. and immigrant workers suffer when immigration enforcement trumps labor rights.

SOLUTION: Protect U.S. and immigrant workers by informing people of existing labor protection policies, and increasing penalties for employers who break the law.

Comprehensive immigration reform addresses demand.
PROBLEM: Our current system allows approximately 5,000 annual visas to low skilled laborers. Yet estimated annual demand for these workers runs close to 500,000.

SOLUTION: Create flexible channels for future legal immigration that allow more foreign workers into the U.S. during strong economic times.

Comprehensive immigration reform helps the economy.
PROBLEM: A shrinking U.S. workforce and increased congressional spending have created high government deficits.

SOLUTION: Legalizing the millions of undocumented workers in our economy would compel them and their employers to contribute payroll and income taxes, generating more than a trillion dollars in tax revenues.

Last but not least, comprehensive immigration reform will allow us to maintain our heritage as a vibrant nation of diversity and strength.

If you think our laws are meaningless and that American workers don't deserve the protection of the US government, then this amnesty is exactly what you want.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!! The other sound is the Pepsi going through my nose from laughing!!!

My question to you is, show me one city, county, borough, state where this is apparent.
First of all you are only speaking of illegal alien families and communities...which, in fact, we owe nothing, and, quite frankly, would like for you and your family to unite and LEAVE!!!

You can't name one city in the US that is thriving because illegal aliens have landed and raped the place!!! A good example is LA, which use to be the most beautiful city. LA, where I grew up, was one of the top school systems in the nation! It is now close to 50% illegal alien Hispanic. Now the school district competes with Mississippi for 50th place!!! LA is graffiti ridden! Approximately 40%, if not more of the students don't even graduate!!! This is in spite of the fact that they always belly up for freebies, like in state tuition, and tuition supplements...which contradicts their being the best, brightest, leaders of tomorrow...seems like welfare recipients of tomorrow. Oh, did I mention that Mexican girls far exceed any other group in unwed pregnancies.

Now what was that you were saying about illegal aliens?!!! Quit believing the hyperbole and LEAVE! Regardless of the polls, the majority of Americans can't stand you!!!
