Seriously? You went to all the trouble of cutting and pasting and that was the best you could come up with? That's hilarious.
You quote Senator Edward Cowan on the topic of "illegal aliens". Strangely this random one-term Senator died in 1885 and the first known usage of the term "illegal aliens" did not occur until 1939.
Of course this makes perfect sense because until immigration laws came into effect in the 1920's there was no such thing as an illegal alien before then. Was the Senator clairvoyant? Seems like somebody was the victim of an internet hoax
Here is another fun fact for you. After the Mexican American War the US added several new territories that later became states. There was quite a bit of debate regarding the citizenship of the people born in what was part of Mexico at the time. Many people felt that since they were born in Mexico and they did not even live in a state that they could not be considered citizens.
That is why the term "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" was used instead of simply saying born in the US.
So there you have it. The 14th Amendment was used to grant citizenship to people born in "Mexico" and you want to use the same amendment to deny citizenship to people actually born in the US.
I notice that you are located in NV. How back do your roots go in the area? Are you the descendant of somebody who received this backdoor citizenship?

"This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States"

"That is why the term "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" was used instead of simply saying born in the US."

Do you even know what "subject to the jurisdiction there of" means?
It does not have to do with location. As a US citizen i'am subject to the jurisdiction of the US no matter where i am. There's a difference between that and subject to the law. An illegal alien can not be compelled to preform jury duty or be tried for treason because they are not US citizens, but they are subject to the law.

FIRST, A FEW LAWS FOR OUR SENATORS/CONGRESSMEN...
If you support/propose any legislation that spends our tax dollars to benefit illegals in any way at all, I think you should lose your job, lose your citizenship, lose your pension, have your assets seized, and be deported! Where in the constitution does it give you the right to confiscate my income to give it to illegals? You took an oath. Live up to it. Represent us, not illegals!
NEXT, TO KEEP ILLEGALS FROM COMING IN
If I were in charge, I'd paint a 1/4 mile wide line in the sand at our border and give orders to shoot to kill anything within it... with armed guards, unmanned drones, and airforce. And quite frankly, after a week of that policy being implemented, the flow of illegals would stop. Show them we mean business, and the body count really won't be that high. The threat of force and serious consequences is all it would take. Right now, it's a catch/release at best - most the time, it's a "look the other way." Another thing - attach a $25,000 invoice to each of the bodies and dump them on the front lawn of the Mexican government.
NEXT, TO GET ILLEGALS TO LEAVE -(I'm tired of liberals idiotically whining about how it's impossible to round up illegals and deport them... it's not necessary!) if an employer is caught employing a single illegal, that employer would lose his citizenship, be deported, and all his assets would be seized. Next - kids need to bring proof of citizenship with them to be enrolled in school. Hospitals - Sure, we'll treat the sick and injured, as the compassionate people we are, but send the hospital bill plus a $25,000 penalty for each illegal we treat. One more thing - all the trash along the border - dump it on the lawn of the Mexican govt and charge them for the clean-up. Lastly, how will we ensure payment from the Mexican government for all that I've described? With serious threat of nuclear bombing of their largest cities for each week their full payments are not received. After one bomb is dropped, I bet they won't miss any payments! Also, quit the stupid practice of giving Mexico billions in aid! Illegals already cost our country $100 billion a year - and our politicians cost us more by giving Mexico billions in foreign aid.
Hahaha...... And where are you planning on deporting all the white employers who don't abide by the law.

Steven Camarota, the Center's Director of Research, notes, "There is simply no question immigration makes for a much larger and more densely settled country, but it is not a cure for an aging society."
Among the findings:

If net immigration (difference between those coming and going) unfolds as the Census Bureau estimated in the last set of projections, the nation's population will increase from 309 million in 2010 to 436 million in 2050 a 127 million (41 percent) increase.
The projected increase of 127 million is larger than the combined populations of the U.K. and France.
By itself future immigration will account for 96 million (75 percent) of future population growth.
The immigrant (legal and illegal) share of the population will reach one in six U.S. residents by 2030, a new record, and nearly one in five residents by 2050.
The Center for Immigration Studies, as well as other researchers, has found that immigration levels have fallen somewhat in recent years. While there is no way to know if the level will remain lower, this change can be incorporated into these projections:
A one-third reduction in the Census Bureau's level of net immigration over the next four decades (2010-2050) produces a total U.S. population of 404 million in 2050 a 95 million increase over 2010.

Even if immigration is half what the Census Bureau expects, the population will still grow 79 million by 2050, with immigration accounting for 61 percent of population growth.
The underlying level of immigration is so high, even assuming a substantial reduction would still add tens of millions of new residents to the U.S. population and account for most of the population growth.

Consistent with prior research, the projections show immigration only slightly increases the working-age (18 to 65) share of the population. Assuming the Census Bureau's immigration level, 58 percent of the population will be of working-age in 2050, compared to 57 percent if there is no immigration.

Raising the retirement age by one year would have a larger positive impact on the working-age share over the next 40 years then would the Census Bureau's projected level of net immigration (68 million).

While immigrants tend to arrive relatively young and have higher fertility than natives, immigrants age just like everyone else, and the differences with natives are not large enough to fundamentally increase the share of the population who are potential workers.

Open Letter to John Gibson,Sean Hannity Jorge Ramos, John Boehner,Luis V. Gutierrez,Lindsey Graham &
Susan Collins

11/9/2012

The gentleman & Lady I've listed above are advocating amnesty for the 12-20 million (wag) illegal aliens in our country . I strongly disagree with their position for the following reasons.

In 1986 President Reagan signed off on a bill granting amnesty to 1 1/2- 2 Million illegal aliens, today I wonder how many thousands more of their family members are here now because of the current Chain
Immigration policy in place?

In the past 26 years since President Reagan signed that bill, because of politicians from both parties like Congressman John Boehner , Luis V. Gutierrez ,Senator Lindsey Graham & Susan Collins who have none nothing to help control both of our borders, except to stick their finger in the dike to appease the voters at home and not offend special interest groups ,12-20 Million more illegal aliens (wag) have entered our country and now because the finger caper didn't work, their solution to the problem is amnesty.

The message that people like John Gibson, Sean Hannity , Jorge Ramos, John Boehner , Luis V. Gutierrez,Lindsey Graham & Susan Collins are sending to immigrants around the world is that if you can enter our country illegally without getting caught and hide out for another 26 years, then sooner or later another amnesty will be granted.

Case in point, a large number of American Hispanic voters including Chicago Congressman Luis V Gutierrez & Jorge Ramos have again rally their support for amnesty, and are using their vote to blackmail the Democrats into granting it. My question is what are those Hispanic Americans basing their support on?

My answer is it's based on the fact that a large number of the illegal aliens are also Hispanics which would appear to make their support based on race.( Google some of Chicago Congressman Luis V Gutierrez's & Jorge Ramos comments on the subject).

Now if I say I don't support amnesty because it's wrong then those same people yell I'm a "Racist".

We currently have no control of illegal immigration into our country, yet continue to allow in around 900,000 legal immigrations a year, and now John Gibson,Sean Hannity Jorge Ramos, John Boehner, Luis V. Gutierrez, Lindsey Graham & Susan Collins want to add 12-20 Million illegal aliens (wag) to our population (315 Million), which doesn't include the millions more of their family members that will come here legally under the chain migration policy...

My question to John Gibson, Sean Hannity, Jorge Ramos, John Boehner , Luis V. Gutierrez, Lindsey Graham & Susan Collins that support amnesty is how many more immigrants will our country hold, and how many more legal & illegal ones entering our country will make you happy?

Just because you can walk across our borders or swim / wade across a river doesn't give someone a place at the head of the line here. The line for those people starts inside the border of their own country.

To compound the problem, under the 14 Amendment we have around 300,00 new American Citizens a year who are born in our country to illegal Hispanic women, and yes John, Sean, Jorge, John B., Luis, Lindsey & Susan a lot of them walk or swim/ wade across our borders just to have those new American babies..

My closing comment is granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens is not fair to immigrants waiting in their own country to enter here the legal way and violating our immigration laws should not be rewarded with American Citizenship, it's worth more than that!

The inscription at the base of the Statute of Liberty concludes, "I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" It says nothing about welcoming people who bypass our entry doors by climbing walls, swimming rivers and sneaking under border fences.

I have no family to turn to, I have NEVER asked for any kind of assiance here in the US, I had a job which I got legally until recently when the business closed down, and i'm still labelled as a criminal by all of you!!!!!
Stop whining and go back to your own country.

The "INN" is full.

What country are you from that won't take back one of it's own citizens??

How did you get a job "legally" when you're in our country "Illegally"?

As more and more citizens lose their jobs and find illegals working them or other jobs(for less of course), the citizenry will wake up. When they find their children going hungry, especially at night;the citizenry will wake up.

Politicians can not continue to fool the people into believing Illegals are good for America when they see/feel and sense different each and every day. The "sh*t is about to hit the fan.

Americans need assistance from those programs(now) they paid into (for yearsssss) and our Politicians are freely giving those services to illegals.

How in the world could you become a citizen without doing anything to earn it? Oh that's right. You claimed your citizenship through the same birth right citizenship clause in the Constitution that you now oppose.
So why would you want to allow 12-20 Million (wag) illegal aliens to stay in our country that broke our Immigration Laws to get here?

These lazy ass people try to blame everything on undocumented people. Point. Though undocumented, these people are willing to work, not sit and depend on the government and say hey I'm a citizen so I'm entitled to benefits. These people do actual work. You bastards are afraid because undocumented people come and work and live a better life than you people. They show y'all how money that is worked honestly can be spent to make life easy and comfortable. Some a you all can't even hang a picture frame on the wall but you cuss and criticize hard working undocumented workers. Oh I'm a citizen so must get welfare oh I'm a citizen so I must be lazy and get an easy life oh I'm a citizen so I must get a free phone. King Obama has spoken. ALL Americans will pay for every illegal immigrant. Illegals will flood schools, hospitals, gov't services, jobs, housing and won't pay for a thing.
So, all you Obama supporters should pay for it first. ALL your taxes and bills will go up to support ALL the illegals in this country.
You will pay for it and LIKE IT.
Not a dam thing anyone can do about it. 30 million mexicans are laughing all the way to the bank. mexicans consider the U.S. a JOKE and they are right.
So thanks to all you IDIOTS that voted for a black muslim lawyer to ruin America.
