Ok. Let's see if I have this straight. You do not like illegal immigrants because they violated a civil ordinance. Laws are very important to you and they should never ever be questioned.
Unless of course we are talking about an Amendment to the Constitution. In that case you can dismiss it as being irrelevant and you do not care what the authorities say.
Not much of a double standard now is it?
We don't need an Amendment to the Constitution. When the 14th Amendment was written, they didn't think that the morons of today would think they would interpret it to include children of illegal aliens.

If a child born to a diplomat isn't granted citizenship in the U.S., any sane person would know that a child born to an illegal alien shouldn't be granted citizenship.

<quoted text>Wow the assumptions coming from you are just amazing. So let's see some statistics on those illegals that are voting for your unwanted politicians. If that's the case the election could/would and should be overturned. Yet it isn't. Could it be the politician was elected by his fellow Americans?
By the way did you happen to notice that the new immigration legislation being discussed has mandatory e-verify as well as some other enforcement measures in it.
e-verify is only the start of what we need.we need something in place to stop voter fraud.

even the dream act poster boy in fresno ca admitted to illegal voting, nothing was done to him so it shows full support by those in office.

add to the above the dems and those who side with amnesty for the most part have proven over and over they will push against everything else in the bill or law having anything to do with enforcement.history is a proven fact. talk is cheap 100% enforcement or just as well be nothing at all which is the dems plan on all of it.

As in the Rodney King incident, the illegal alien supporters attack the innocent Americans. Did they attack the cops, or the justice system? Nope! They attacked innocent Americans because of their skin color. Burned down businesses, etc.
We want the illegal aliens and their children out of our country. Our immigration laws enforced. The 14th Amendment does not include children of illegal aliens, no matter what the judges say.
We're called racists, xenophobes, etc. Sorry, but you can't have a rational debate with the enemy. Believe me, I've tried.
I just talked with one native Indian tribe member, he told he emailed to Washington just couple of hours ago regarding the business license which he is longing for years. The words are different but gist is nothing different than your comment. Anyway, I first time entered the debate. I am out of it. Happy discussion !Bye.

Exactly! The 14th Amendment is being misinterpreted and on purpose. The hordes of Illegal poor and uneducated are being used and will be the next voter base for the Democratic(Leftist) Party.
Illegals will be served/are being served on a golden platter all that was served to the African Americans,welfare/section 8, etc. to keep them down, dependent on the Government teat and with the inability to think,do for themselves. We will see more or rather are seeing(more) the same behavior as the blk exhibit,,, gangs killings, drug usage/trading,etc. What you see now happening with the blk we will see/are seeing going on in the Mexican Communities.
Really Folks, is it worth pursuing your Dream/better life with Obama in Office ? I don't think so !
Americans economy is about to make a complete nose dive,,, wait and see. These two groups of people i mention above and their entitlements are unsustainable.(I'm still half asleep, but I'm sure you get my point)

Nobody thinks illegal immigration is a good idea. That is a straw man. It is just a matter of being realistic. They are here now and they are not leaving. Wish as we may there is no way to get rid of them. We should have been cracking down on employers all along, but for various reasons we did not. Now we have to deal with the mess.
It is just clear the present approach is not working and that is not going to change. You would be surprised to learn about how many of our immigration laws encourage people to stay here.
Just consider the stiff penalties we impose on illegal immigrants who try to LEAVE the country voluntarily. If somebody tries to leave the country to go home and try to come back with a legal visa they are barred from even applying for a visa for ten years. That's ridiculous. We should be encouraging people to leave instead of penalizing them.
On the other hand if they lay low and stay out of trouble they can probably stay here illegally forever.
Worse yet, if they do get caught here and are forcibly deported, the ten year bar does not apply to them. They can apply for a visa right away.
What possible incentive would somebody have to leave on their own?
That is just one example of counterproductive immigration laws. There are plenty more.
You're right. They should have been cracking down on employers for a long time. The reason they didn't is because both defective parties perceived gaining some political advantage by pandering to illegals. As far as dealing with illegal alien employment and ridiculous penalties applied to illegals who leave voluntarily, why not just legislate a solution for these two things? I see no reason to overhaul our whole immigration system, especially since the one we have has never been enforced. These misguided amnesty plans will be impossible to implement, unaffordable and will reinforce the notion that our laws are meaningless.

What are you talking about? "we don't need an Amendment to the Constitutions". It already exists and you say you do not accept it.

Clearly you pick and chose which laws you think are important.

Clearly you have an agenda. If we agree to an Amendment, then we would be agreeing that the interpretation was correct in regards to children of illegal aliens. It's not!

It's like the 2nd Amendment. They are trying to take guns away, because they have an agenda. The loony left and their dumb'uns think all guns should be banned. They think only the police should have them, but out of their same mouth they are always crying police brutality or an unjustified killing by police. ROTFLMAO!!!

Sure as the Republicans are for following the law whereas the left and the liberals are for pandering for the vote. The liberals are radicalized with forcing of Americans to follow their far left agenda and that is why topix voted Obama the farthest left president so far by 78%.
Yeah, but in the same poll they asked if anybody on Topix knew what any of those words meant and it turns out only a few of us do.

"Today is a time of celebrating for you…but it is not a time of celebrating for me. It is with heavy heart that I look back upon what happened to my People…The Pilgrims had hardly explored the shores of Cape Cod four days before they had robbed the graves of my ancestors, and stolen their corn, wheat, and beans…Massasoit, the great leader of the Wampanoag, knew these facts; yet he and his People welcomed and befriended the settlers…little know that…before 50 years were to pass, the Wampanoags…and other Indians living near the settlers would be killed by their guns or dead from diseases that we caught from them…Although our way of life is almost gone and our language is almost extinct, we the Wampanoags still walk the lands of Massachusetts…What has happened cannot be changed, but today we work toward a better America, a more Indian America where people and nature once again are important." You are right that the Bast*rdization of the 14th Amendment to include people who broke the law was never thought of when they first wrote it. The same thing has to happen when they include some laws that cover the internet. Not thought of when the original Constitution was created.
It is hilarious that people complain about landscapers committing a civil offense by coming here and then these same people completely dismiss an Amendment to the Constitution.

You can't claim to be a champion of law and order and then pick and choose the laws that you consider to be valid.
