Those who support illegal immigration have blocked immigration reform for years by demanding amnesty for illegal aliens be part of any changes in immigration laws. Rather than instituting policies to help legal immigrants our president has decided to ignore the will of the people and congress and allow illegal aliens to stay and obtain green cards while ignoring the needs of honest immigrants. We need talented, honest and motivated immigrants. We do not need lazy, ignorant and violent criminals who are unwanted in their home countries except of course to increase the wealth and political power of a few criminals.
This article does reinforce the fact that if laws against illegal aliens were enforced most would self deport. In this case a legal immigrant is planning to self deport due to enforcement of laws against legal immigrants so it stands to reason that if laws against illegal aliens were enforced they would self deport also.

We should want only those who follow our laws and who will NOT become a public charge of the American taxpayer. Anyone who can't follow our laws and respect our sovereignty are not worthy nor can be entrusted with the privilege of American citizenship. It should be the hardest thing in the world to get and shouldn't become something that is handed out like candy.

We need to lower all immigration right now, because we have been in one of the largest immigration periods in our history. Our cities and highways are already crowded enough. We have high unemployment, so we don't need 150,000 professional Indians moving to Texass to take jobs from Americans because they work for less. What we need is airplane drops over countries like Mexico, Philippines, India, etc.. dropping large numbers of size small condoms with instructions on their use.

That is what we the People want but those in power do not want intelligent hard working immigrants that can compete with them. They want lazy, ignorant criminals that they can control. Throughout history government and religious leaders have always tried to keep the masses poor and ignorant. Importing poor, ignorant people and encouraging them to reproduce rapidly by rewarding them for having many more children than they can afford assures dependency on church and state. It also assure that those in power stay in power.
