-- The first Thanksgiving in America actually occurred in 1541, when Francisco Vasquez de Coronado and his expedition held a thanksgiving celebration in Palo Duro Canyon in the Texas panhandle.

Our Thanksgiving tradition is New England born and bred. Texas rolls to the beat of a different drummer, and that's fine. The majority of Americans cotninue to celebrate and conmemorate it as we always have, embracing the message of giving thanks for the blessings with shich we have been bestowed.

The native Americans only celebrated Thanksgiving once.
Everyday is Thanksgiving for the illegal aliens from South of the border because here in America it is like they hit the lottery.

If only turkey shoot's were still fashionable. We could take out a few hundred running around at the border. Thanksgiving is the celebration, of the beginning of a New Land. Not one Mexican family I know were in the Grocery stores buying Turkey's, Just cases of beer. That's their idea of a Holiday in America.
