I am a 8th grader at East Rockaway Jr/Sr High School and going back today was just amazing. It felt so good to be back even though I felt really short walking the halls with the upperclassmen today.

Please see to it that the brass plaques are removed from the arm rests on the seats of the "Sandy" destroyed auditorium at the high school and re-installed onto the new seats in the re-furbished auditorium.
These plaques have historical (alumni) as well as sentimental value.
