Would like to purchase a used Fema trailer without
having to become a member of the government auction web sight. Any help that you can give would be greatly appreciated, Web sights, phone numbers, on line bidding, just anything. Thank you

Hello. What use do you have in mind for these toxic trailers? I really really want to learn. Thanks.
ps. Of course, this is a free country to buy toxic trailers or not, I don't know. Peace.

Unless the government changes its mind these trailers are no longer for sale. I know one family who actually bought their trailer when they finished rebuilding their home. Two weeks later the government told them they were giving the money back and taking the trailer...all because of the toxic law suit.
Absolutely insane. Lawyers and deadbeats looking for a buck is all this is.

I am going to advise EVERYONE looking at fema trailers.
I own a campgrounds and am very experienced in rv repair and maintenance. I have toured COUNTLESS new and used fema trailer at AMASING low prices, about 1/4th of the price of a similar trailer new. They can be found on ebay starting around $4500
They are that CHEAP for a reason! They are VERY poor quality, the cabinets are particleboard, the walls are laminated pressed board, the floors are chipboard, the couches break apart within 1 year, the matresses and cushons wear within a year, the refrigerators are off-brand garbage. Hot water heaters in rvs suck to begin with but these ones are also off-brand junk. They flex and buckle going down the road and the aluminum wrenches. They have about 1/3rd the windows and insulation of a typical new trailer.
If you want a real deal, just remember...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
You are about 50% correct. You have to look thru them all. Many of them have good name brand appliances and are well built. The thing that got my attention was the way some people had mistreated them. Many appliances were stolen and the trailers were trashed. The wheels and tires were even changed out on some.
I can understand why some in the travel trailer business don't want to see them hit the market. I would certainly look there first before going to a dealer. The new travel trailers are over priced
and not worth what dealers want. That is my opinion.
