Of course, the bombing would be coordinated by the current occupant of the White House, IF he/she were a Republican.

Fear.

This is nothing more than a fear tactic used in order for the people to give up more rights protected in the constitution for the trade of security.

All based on fear: The Patriot Act, NDAA 2012 sections 1031 and 1032.

All on the premise of security.

FLASH: THIS JUST IN, JEFF TUBIN (TELLING CNN) SAID TODAY THAT THE SESSION FOR THE OBAMA REGIEM AT THE SUPREME COURT HEARINGS ON OBAMASCARE WAS A TRAIN WRECK. He said the questions being asked showed the Members were very sceptical of the left trying to make the mandate a tax......especially since Obama on national TV told George Stephenopolis that it in no way was a tax.

It is not unthinkable! There were even those, some in the US government, that thought of a attack like the one on 9-11.
The question is: How much freedom and privacy are Americans willing to give up to prevent such attacks?

In addition to the damage done by a nuclear explosion the Northeast corridor would suffer the effects of the EMP from the weapon. The power grid would be fried and tens of millions would be without power for up to a year. Imagine no food no public transportation, cars would not start, no refrigeration or manufacturing or food processing you get the picture. Those within a 500+ mile radius would be affected.

Been there, done that. Hide under your school desks and shut up. Baby boomers and above are immune to this scare tactic from right wing nutjobs. More scare now is this trans-vaginal probe party of evangelitaliban. See what last weekend's War on Women conference looks like. Scary as well is their War on Minorities, Voters, Workers,...... Yes, the GOP is now the official party of War, Destruction, and Racism. Women and minorities need not apply.

People ,they been discussing what to do if this happens since the mid 1940's when they where worried about Hitler getting the bomb.
Its better to have a plan for the worst possible sitution and not need it then be caught in a bad situtation and have no plan.
