Well that's a surprise! I didn't think that there were any judges left that still had any respect for the rule of law and due process!
Along these same lines, has anyone heard the latest on Abu Zubaydah, the alleged "very senior al Qaeda operative" and "one of al Qaeda's top operational managers"? No? Well it appears that the U.S. government has been forced to admit that, despite years of detention and torture and elaborate official narratives built on extracted "confessions," Abu Zubaydah isn't actually affiliated with "al Qaeda" and was not involved in any way in the September 11 attack or the 1998 African Embassy bombings, as was alleged.
