Voters notwithstanding, insurers leery of marijuana
With the passage of a ballot initiative this year, Massachusetts became the latest state to allow the use of marijuana for medical purposes, joining 17 others and the District of Columbia.

Insurance companies would rather patients take addicting harmful drugs instead of a relatively harmless beneficial plant. They have an economic interest in forcing people to suffer unnecessarily! More proof that a for profit health care system is amoral at best and highly immoral at its worst!
