Actually, just like the last time Washington voted on gay rights (Ref 71, 2009) the voters will once again APPROVE equal rights for gays & lesbians. There aren't enough anti-gays in the eastern half of the state to overcome the 75% of the population which lives in the Puget Sound (Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia) area who overwhelmingly support marriage equality.

Bring on the vote!

Looks like the gays have more rights than Catholics. This is what a communist as president does.

Referendum 71 was about domestic partnership , not gay marriage
gay marriage is always voted down by We The People.

The anti-gays maxed out their vote against domestic partnerships. They can't come up with any more voters against marriage.

The same people who voted for Ref 71 will vote for marriage equality as well.

We won in 2009 with only a 24% turnout in the Puget Sound area, compared to a 66% turnout in the bigoted anti-gay eastern part of the state. You simply don't have the numbers to overcome the 75% of the population that lives around Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia, especially when all the pro-equality voters turn out for Obama again.
