Why should we have some stupid judge over riding the will of the people? Remember this could well happen to you and something you care deeply about someday. Be careful what you cheer for.
The people in some state might vote for gay rights then a judge can come right in behind it, and say Nope not going to happen.

Of course not because he obsesses over gays and their marriage. One would think that you and Santorum would be satisfied enough with your own heterosexual marriages and stop talking about gays all the time.

Judges rule according to the constitution. Apparently the marriage ban was unconstitutional. Sorry you don't like what his ruling was but judges rule strictly according to the constitution. It's not constitutional to vote on every single issue especially if it takes away rights from someone.

Newt wants it according to his way. If this is case then why do we even have judges in the first place? Why aren't a theocracy/monarchy and under a king and dictator? Judges are there for a reason for the checks and balances.
