An majority vote to approve/disapprove whether a minority group (gays are less than 3%) is entitled to equal rights will, not surprisingly, choose to EXCLUDE the minority.

All citizens are entitled to equal opportunity and that freedom is guarenteed by the Constitution.

It will be interesting which way this will go.

Dump the damn case once and for all and let the valid court decision stand. Prop 8 is, was, and always will be UNCONSTITUTIONAL, a violation of the right of gay Americans to marry.

Flush it!

Putting the rights of unpopular minorities to a popular vote is a slippery slope, not to mention unamerican and unconstitutional!

Wrong. It's perfectly American and perfectly constitutional and has been done for centuries.
