Arizona Appeals Same-Sex Partner Benefits Ruling

This is not surprising. Arizona's Governor Jan Brewer has asked the United States Supreme Court to overturn a ruling by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upholding a trial court ruling blocking a law that would have stripped the state's lesbian and gay workers' partners of healthcare benefits.

One of the stupidest and most hateful woman elected to public office. I urge all of my LGBT brothers and sisters to go out and vote! Let's stop the hate. If its true we make up 10% of the population, we can determine who our elected officials are. Let's stop the radical right. Vote LGBT friendly candidates. Vote progressive democrat!

Damn, if the Supreme Court's docket goes any gayer they're going to have to hold hearings in Key West. Prop 8, DOMA, now this bit of nonsense, it's the anti-Gay folk that had better start worrying about a backlash from the Court. All these cases that have lost miserably at every level being dragged in for review, the old folks in robes are gonna get cranky.
