Comparing being gay to bad habits and abortions? Pathetic...
Exhausting? Does that mean we're on better terms then we were ?:)

And the comparison wasn't pathetic. The comparison was a reality for how most of Christianity still looks at sins. That is why I listed them as I did.

So does your cult..one day they will have the official global designation of "hate group. Just like the KLAN.
One day? If SCOTUS rules same sex marriage legal, in a single solitary day every religion and every person religious or not religious that still disagrees with same sex marriage(but not in necessarily disagreement about homosexuality), they will instantly be classified by pro-same sex marriage advocates as hate groups and discriminating bigots and or individuals as haters and discriminating bigots.
And all those statements that religions can still have their beliefs without incident will be proved by the pro-same sex marriage advocates as out right lies. Because it will be pro-same sex marriage advocates that will be than calling all the names at non-conformers like religious groups and individuals.
And as it happened before because of the change in popular opinion, religions will begin their about face flip-flop to avoid any out cries by same sex advocates that would disrupt their normal goings on with direct and indirect verbal abuse.
And as it happened before, the US government will prove there is no such thing as freedom of religion. But I realize a lot of people are okay with that.

Now, now, we should not be so hard on the bigots! Here is a nice video I posted just to help these poor bigots know they are not alone in their efforts to sow hate and division amongst all of humanity:

In the below definition, same sex marriage advocates are as much a bigot of their opinion as those that oppose same sex marriage.
And what's better? One group that's forcing people to accept their way of thinking through bigotry or one group the refuses to accept their way of thinking through bigotry?
Those that have fought for equality have now become their own prejudicial bigots. They now demand that everyone accept their thinking or else be ready to be verbally assaulted. Seems we've came full circle. The bigots are still bigots and the non-bigots are now bigots.

They use it as a reference when it accommodates their specific view point(s). In that case, Islam uses it in the same fashion. But neither group believes it is a book based on a divine being. So there is a difference.

Also, though I have no respect for their hate and anger and mental/physical violence they engage in, I respect the fact, not the group, that they have stuck to their base doctrine without flip-flopping because of pressure from popular opinion. I give the same respect to the Black Panthers for remaining the absolute racists they have always been and didn't give in to popular opinion.
My point is that regardless if one or more doctrines/teachings are deemed good bad or neutral, an organization that doesn't always flip-flop on it's philosophies due to pressure from popular opinion and law, they get a bit of respect from me for not rolling over and sticking their keister in the air for any one to do with as they see fit to prove their "one of the good guys now."
This country was built on having the freedom to have an opinion and to act on that opinion. Concerning same sex marriage, the oppressors have now become the oppressed and are being told their opinion is wrong.
Funny how the victim becomes what they worked against to over come.

Actually I posted that to see how far outside the box you would wander to consider my statement. You began to venture and than stopped.

Definition of BIGOT Merriam-Webster
: a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices;

I was seeing if you would see by that definition that we all stand accused as being bigots. With that realization the obvious question would be when is it good to be a bigot and when is it not good to be a bigot? Can such a measured definition even be made?
People have tossed the word bigot about (for example) like it can only be applied to people that are against homosexuality or same sex marriage. But people that are for homosexuality and same sex marriage their as much a bigot now for forcing their opinion on those that don't wish to believe as they do, that they called bigots for forcing their beliefs against homosexuality and same sex marriage onto others.

I agree. Under public peer pressure and or legal pressure concerning change of laws, religions that don't flip flop remain bigots and religions that were bigots that flip-flop for fear of public back lash, they're seen as newly conformed non-bigot religions.

Call it what you want. And I never said the Klan shouldn't be condemned. Not sure how you arrived at that.
Definition of BIGOT Merriam-Webster
: a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices;
According to the above, a bigot isn't an actual 'bad' person as long as the thinking doesn't cross over to hate, rage, intolerance of other's thinking, verbal and or physical violence.
In general we can all be defined as bigots and not in a bad way of using the word.
The problem is that bigot has been use so much and so often by pro-homosexuals and Same sex marriage advocates that it's actual definition has become perverted by it's users.

My imagination? And so that means it's your imagination that the homosexual same sex advocates don't over use the word bigot? That it's your imagination that you haven't used the word bigot to describe any one that disagrees with homosexuality and or same sex marriage? That it's your imagination that you haven't said over and over any one that isn't for homosexuality and or same sex marriage is a bigot, hater etc?
Is that what you mean? If it really is, I have some disturbing news for you. In America for the last two decades, homosexual and same sex advocates like yourself have cornered the usage of the word bigot. You have literally redefined the word in how you use it. For your thinking, you have repeatedly stated that anyone that opposes homosexuality and or same sex marriage for any reason is a bigot.
Well to disagree on a matter doesn't actually make a person a bigot. But you claim the opposite is true, that they're a bigot even if they disagree with your view on homosexuality and or same sex marriage.
So yes, you have helped evolve the definition of bigot beyond it's actual definition. And what you do has nothing to do with Alaska :)
