U.S. top court won't review "Die Hard" director's guilty plea
John McTiernan, director of the films "Die Hard" and "The Hunt for Red October," lost his bid on Monday to have the U.S. Supreme Court review his guilty plea and one-year prison sentence for perjury and lying to the FBI.

The denizens of the world of entertainment need to realize that celebrity does not excuse them from the violation of the law. Additionally, We the People need to demand that the courts must not allow law breakers, such as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and others, to use their celebrity to avoid punishment for their frequent violations of the law.
Judges who appear to be star-struck with so-called stars of the world of entertainment should be removed from the bench as they disparage the laws of our nation with their extreme leniency to celebrities.
