Sad...

“'It is the political leaders in Washington who are really driving public opinion about the threat of climate change,” Jenkins said.“The politics overwhelms the science.'..The study found that the state of the economy was the second biggest factor affecting perceptions of climate threat. The incidence of extreme weather events had no effect on American’s view of the climate change threat.
New research published in scientific journals had no impact on public views."

Good News, here in New Mexico,

"NM regulators repeal carbon cap and trade rules"

http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S2484833.s...

Thank you AGWs for helping me to learn enough to be an influence in this process. Letter writing, I didn't do any presentations, but I know people who did. People with all those funny letters behind their names, I think you call them 'scientists'.

Without the AGWs, I would not have known the 'arguments'. Your help has been invaluable.

It was a good day for the skeptics and New Mexico.
Thank you again!!!!

You are no skeptic as any reader can guess. So you wrote letters in which you used "we" whilst pretending to be of science!

I can't fathom why any one would take you seriously when they have the climate scientists nearby in Los Alamos and Sandia. I assume they were too busy to take days off from their science.

You needn't have bothered. The fix was in a year ago when you elected a right-wing Republican governor sucking the oil and coal industry teats, who then promptly appointed new Environmental Improvement Board members who also have ties to the fossil fuel biz.

How'z it feel to be a tool?

Northie, you can't rain on this parade.

Yes, new govenor, new board, out with the last minute regulation, that failed passage in the legislature, but put into the register by Richardson at the last minute.

I am opposed to cap and trade and taxes on carbon fuel use, have been since before Martinez was elected.

No danger of that. New Mexico isn't seeing much rain at all...for some strange reason.

Meanwhile, congratulations on electing more oil industry harlots. I'm sure they have your best interests at heart.

Thanks, that's why I voted for them. Oh and the drought, we are a desert. Only 8" annual rainfall on average.

Drought is something this area has dealt with for as long a our historical records have been kept, and in my area that's about 1540CE.

All those "climate change" fear mongers still believe it. Even after we found out they have been falsifying the data. It is a religion to them.

For those that believe in "global warming", cut off all your power(electric ,water, gas,etc.). Don't drive(even electric cars are made with fossil fuels), no TV,Radio, phone, cell phone ,anything. No lip stick, combs, carpets, etc. Go live in a cave, you SF fools. Until a new way of doing things comes about, you are peeing in the wind.

Hi guy,I hope you are doing well. Even though we tried to kill each other 44 years ago, I'm glad you made it. You were damn good fighters. Had things been different, we could have been good friends, having a cold beer (33) together. So Charlie, take care and be safe. Say "Hi" to Lin, on Tran Hung Doa in Saigon.
