Octo Mom recdives $2,000.00 a month in food stamps. Take a look at the "large" families in our country who have no business being here.....They're costing us billions! CA it's reported has 1/3 of all welfare recipients.

We should end judicial appointments and elect them that way when they run afoul of the law and the will of the people, they can be canned.

Sorry about the game loss. I was for Kansas....Last week the SCOTUS made a comment about cases being premature for action. They were talking about obamacare but one of my arguments about the socalled racial profiling issue has always been the same. One cannot bring an action against a "maybe" or what might happen. There has to be an actual case of abuse of power. The 9th over-stepped and needs another good smacking for it.

I agree in theory, but the idea is for the judges not to be political. That's a joke I know. Snewt has a decent idea about our SCOTUS situation. The idea was that 3 separate branches of government have basically equal power in their realm. In a perfect world the checks and balance approach would deal with political-based decissions, where Congress would pick up the ball and do what they had to do to keep their actions Constitutional and the President would follow suit. I guess that's just a right-wing madman's dream.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Virgo

It's a rather low-key day with a few disappointments to cope with along the way. If you were looking forward to a social event, such as meeting up with friends, it may fail to live up to your expectations. It might even be delayed or postponed through no fault of your own. There could also be problems about how much something is going to cost, forcing you to scale down your plans to make them more affordable.
