Case that inspired 'Zachary's Law' gets new court hearing

Putnam County Prosecutor Tim Bookwalter is a joke he is a murder himself, by allowing the death peanalty to stand he is just as bad a killer, murder, veditive over zelous prosecuter looking to futher his own political ajenda the bible states THY SHALL NOT KILL yes Christopher Stevens was wrong for what he did and we all make mistake and he will awser to God for his errors and ways but what give the courts, prosucter the right to execute prisioner it still is murder they are takeing a life themselves and there is no different from what Christopher Stevens did murder is murder reguardless... it is wrong and i pray for there souls they will awnser to God on judgement day as well... going for the death penalty does NOT make him just as bad. so should they just slap him on the wrist and tell him he was bad for doing that to a CHILD????? i'm sure that would really help solve all the violence if the worst punishment they thought they would get was a freakin slap on the wrist.

As far as the article that is what is GREAT and BAD about our country people can do what they want....let him file as many times as he wants its his right....as for the death penalty...the country is bound by its laws to do something......and religiously God will take care of it all, but Religion aside or without a religious belief something must be done.

If God is a fallacy, you're going to feel really bad for turning down justice. Zachary had no say, he doesn't get a second chance...Does your God feel for that or is (insert pronoun here) partial to those that offend others? Mr. Bookwalter could be as emotional as you on this topic in which it's a merely a difference of opinion in which his voice is heard more loudly than yours (based on job title...)
You shouldn't pass your spite and vindication for others onto God...You're big enough to handle confrontation better than that (certainly pationate enough that you should be able to argue your side with something more tangible than God said it's bad...) after all, if there were a real seperation of church and state, the Bible would hold no weight in decision-making.

Through random ways I found myself at this site and I could not help but comment. I was a classmate of Zachary Snider. The last memory I have of him is playing basketball during recess at school. As a 10 yr. old at the time, I had a hard time understanding his disappearance, why it happened, or even what molestation was. His murder not only affected Zachary and his family, but the entire community. No child should ever have to experience what he did, nor should a child ever experience such an event happening to a friend. I support the death penalty. I feel it would be more of sin to allow an individual who committed such a horrendous act to continue to pollute our society. God will still handle his final judgment, he would just be arriving there in a quicker fashion.

This is Zachary's older sister. 15 years, we have been waiting for Chris Stevens to be put to death. 15 years have gone by without my little brother in my life. Killing Chris Stevens will not bring my brother back, but I will feel better knowing that this world is finally rid of the scumbag that took my brother from my family. He deserves to die for what he did to my family. Christopher, you have no CLUE what this man did to my family, did to my life. What Chris Steven did was not a mistake, it was cold blooded MURDER. well im sorry for you loss but murder is murder and i will be fight for chris i have the time and money to do so im also sueing bookwalter in due time murder is murder and you all will answer to GOD on judment day and I can;t wait to be there to see it i will be at every hearing hear to voice my opions on this matter in court and to the meadia

I was a juror on this case and stevens showed absolutey NO MERCY! he had several chances to let Zachary go and chose not to he bragged about Zachary begging for his life. I could'nt stand the thought of this animal walking the streets at the age of 40 to do it all over again. I asked myself if i could live with my decision and I stand by it even today. I know my decision has saved other children from this creep and that is very good feeling to have. Zachary was brought to justice!

My children and I were neighbors of Christopher Stevens. He spent time at my house. So did Zach. Christopher Stevens sat on my sofa only a few hours after killing Zach and told me that Zach was missing. He didn't even break a sweat. He even walked with me to Zach's house and talked to his mother with me. He went with us to search for Zach. He is a monster with no concience. Every breath he breathes is a breath he stole from Zach Snider.
