These legislators know perfectly well that what they propose in the name of 'safety' is in reality the building of a wall across access to abortion for the women who most often seek it: the poor and uninsured, who are economically struggling to provide for themselves, and the least financially equipped to provide for their children.
The attacks on women's health and autonomy are getting more and more heinous with each passing day in this country, all the more so as legislatures across the nation are putting these bills on the table, and couching their agendas in terms of concern for 'womens health and safety'. Bullshit. The fewer clinics which are available, the less safe abortion becomes, as it will be practiced without the physician's involvement if women cannot access a physician to perform the procedure.

Cry us a river, won't you ... while you're getting out your checkbook to subsidize the abortions taxpayers overwhelmingly reject funding.[ "A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released November 18, 2009 indicates that 61 percent of the public opposes using public money for abortions for women who can not afford the procedure, with 37 percent in favor of allowing the use of federal funds."]
And do offer some heartfelt condolences to those abortuaries that have fallen on hard times as they bemoan the dearth of death-dealing "doctors."

Live Action investigator: "Why do you [Kentucky] have only one [abortion clinic]?"
Abortion "counselor" [EMW Women's Surgical Center, Louisville, Kentucky]: "Just, you know most doctors don't want to do it."
Live Action investigator: "Why not?"
Abortion "counselor": "Well 'cuz a lot of doctors don't, aren't pro-choice. So it's very hard to find a doctor, you know, that will do abortions. You know, mean--just, a lot of doctors, you know, don't, they're not pro-choice, they don't believe in it, and so they don't do the procedure, and they don't have to."
** RH [Reproductive Health] Reality Check's Amanda Marcotte:“...after all, the past decade was a pretty bleak one. The pro-choice movement didn’t advance the ball down the field, and even our defensive maneuvers didn’t work so well at times."
“The average age of an abortion provider in this country is soaring upwards, and many doctors who deserve to retire and spend their days playing golf stay in the business because there’s so many women who need abortions and so few people to provide them,” wrote Marcotte.

Look, Lix, I know reading comprehension is not your strong suit, but doing an end run around RoeVWade is an art form these days.
I'm not crying, fella, I'm furious. You simply regard pregnant women as less important than the fetuses within them.
What angers me is the prevalence of your opinion, and the fact that it threatens to become law which will have little to no effect on your gender, yet greatly impacts mine.
