Assault verdict overturned, O'Laughlin freed

A federal court has freed Michael O'Laughlin, who was convicted of beating a Lee woman almost to death in 2000 and sentenced to 35- to 50-years in state prison.

Just another bang up case for the capeless crusader of justice. Maybe we should keep voting him in. Yet we have the true believers that foley is innocent and all the whinners are drug addicts and welfare recipients. WELL HERES ANOTHER SHINNING EXAMPLE OF A WHINNER who can't convict but spins a story better than any fiction writer Iv'e ever read.

Understand this: the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals is packed with Daddy and Son Bush appointees. They are TOTALLY pro-government on appeals and RARELY rule against the government whether it be a criminal OR civil action.

Check out their website and read the case law. I do it every day that they issue cases, getting them by email.

If the 1st Circuit - a heavy handed bunch of right wing, conservative judges - ruled in favor of a criminal defendant, the case was tremendously flawed.

Coakley trying to overturn the case is a waste of taxpayer money. That's 3 down this week in the County, starting with Baran.
