Is the Cherokee Nation a part of Oklahoma, if yes, how could they have been left out? No do not dismiss the case! Oklahoma should have received the millions associated with the decision, in my opinion. Where there is big money involved, you are always going to have to fight for it. Get us some of that money!
If you only get a promise from them to take care of the issue, it will not hold water. Having the funds available to take care of the problem, Oklahoma will be in control. I do not trust them to do their own clean up. Our health is too important! We can not even trust the meat producers to sell us natural meat! |

As I understand its origin, am wondering how much of a pollutant "bird waste" truly is...it would seem it's almost certainly all-natural and therefore fairly biodegradable. Much ado about a bunch of chicken crap!

I am still pondering over the issue of the Cherokee Nation not being included. Those within the Cherokee Nation, who live in Oklahoma, are also Oklahomans. They are, both, Oklahomans and Cherokee Nation, as well. Afro-American, Irish-American, and so on, etc.. That sounds right to me. Where you live determines, everything. Everyone who live in Oklahoma are Oklahomans. They are not part-time residents and have to return to another Nation. They have a permanent location, Oklahoma. Argue that! Did you say, leave the Cherokee Nation out?

2 Why do research? In a concise paragraph, you have effectively doubled -- heck, tripled -- my knowledge of chicken crap. Much obliged! |

When a river runs through one of the Native American (Indian) Nation Tribal area, the river and so much of its banks belong that Tribe. That's why the Creek Nation's "River Spirit Casino" is on Creeek Nation property while it is now surrounded by the City of Tulsa.
The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma should be a part of the suit against the Poultry Factories which actually own the chickens raised on the farms. The farmers own the property; but, they sort of become the employees of the Poultry industry for which they raise the chickens. A very large portion of the Illinois River in Oklahoma is in Cherokee County. I haven't been there in a long time; but, I took several canoe trips on that river in the 1970s. One of them was a full day trip that ended up at the bridge East of Tahlequah. Oh, during the early 1960s, I swam and even fished in the Illinois south of Oaks. |
