Having a private company in control of a countries mint sets up a situation like you have in American, other countries notes are of different sizes, just like coins, other countries consider the blind. How is it that the most powerful nation on earth has no concerns for the blind amongst them. Other countries mints have keeped pace with current tecknologies in their fight against counterfieghting, other countries have swithed from paper to polymer notes, this has saved those nations millions every year by not having to reprint worn and damaged notes. The blind in America will never "feel" a notes value like they can a coin whilst a private company is interested in "profit" and not the "people". You over-rode parts of your constitution due to terrorism... The Patriot Act ... how about you do the same for the "terror" situation of a countries Mint never ever going to change the size of its notes for the Blind, change its notes to Polymer (they would lose huge amounts of revenue as the amount of notes needing reprinting each year would drop dramaticly) or change to modern anti-conterfieghting mesures. The Federal Reserve does not want to spend huge sums of thier money to bring your notes into the 21st century.... they are happy to leave your notes they way they have for almost a century now, to change would mean a huge loss for them (a Private Company) and a huge benifit to the American people, Blind can "feel" the different note denominations, less money is spent on fighting counterfiegting, money is saved on reprinting (Polymer Notes last Soooo much longer)

God Bless America yall need it
