If your question is wether or not acutane works permantly. No. There is NO cure for acne. And I will tell you what I tell everyone else who uses it. Stop. Reasearch it's side effects online and see for yourself the damage that it can cause you. That's the only thing permanant about it. I should know as it has given me Crohn's Disease. If you are taking it I would see another dermatologist for a second opinion. The only people who should take it (if any) are those who have severe acne that can't be treated ANY other way. Please do yourself a favor and look up all of the side effects of this drug before you continue to use it.

IT may not work permanantley. There is a 33% chance your acne may return. This drug has been around for years and contrary to what ever you have heard or read, this drug has an excellent track record. The biggest side effect you will see is dryness. And of course you must NOT GET PREGNANT!!!! I have seen the results of this drug and would give it to my own daughter. Talk with your doctor about any concerns you might have.

Well for me, so far it has worked permanently, I suffered only 2 side effects (despite having skin cancer etc. and depression running through my family) these being chapped lips and weight gain (from which i went from 10 stone - 13.5 stone, and at 5ft that is a a lot). I had tried, oxytetracyccline, minocycline, isotrexin gel, benzomycin cream, zineryt lotion etc. and none worked espcecially seeing as I had refractive acne so it just kept returning. YES there are side effects but you have to way up the pros and cons, personally after being called pizza face and every other name under the sun from 11 - 15 i couldn't give a monkeys what it did to me.

And now, I have clearer skin than most of my friends. The ONLY permanent effect (as of now) is that I have clear skin. I was on 20mg to start and then went up to 100 mg for 8 months. I didn't find myself getting depressed, I never found myself getting ill. But I am not dimeening the fact that it CAN cause serious side effects, suicidle tendancies, blood poisoning, liver and kidney failure, swelling of the brain and heart and many more attractive things.

Although people really only hear of the horror stories, when actually theres only a few other things in my life that I am as grateful to as I am towards ruaccutane. It has changed my life, I don't have to worry about getting close to people, I don't have to wash my face 5 times a day, I don't have to continuously take medication and I certainly don't have to put up with the continuous abuse from clear skinned people.

So if youv'e tried everything else, go for it, make sure your living with someone full time, so they can keep an eye on your moods, make sure you have monthly blood tests to keep an eye on your liver, kidneys etc. make sure you have a good lip balm, I'd advise vaseline (vasalube, as it's called in america) or aquaphore and eat healthly.

Hope this has helped,
Benji

Your quoted comments below are ignorant and lack any kind of helpful value at all. Accutane is next to impossible to get and requires strict adherance to a program that does not care that you are MALE and cannot get pregnant. SO, to even get Accutane requires a visit to a physician who is going to recommend you use it - usually because you ave already seen this doctor and the Clearacil is not working, the tetracycline is not working, the washes and other treatments are not working and this is the next step. You will have been thoroughly warned by the doctor and by the rigorous requirements of the program that regulates its access. If you want to know if Accutane is permanent, check with your doctor. They will tell you that most people who have been treated with Accutane no longer suffer from the scarring and destructive acne that drove them to Accutane in the first place. As for causing Crohn's disease that's not likely as Crohn's runs in families and more so for some cultures and most likely has a genetic component. However, it would be nice to blame it on Accutane as that will give you a place to direct your anger - for awhile.

Spell Clearasil right first before you insult other people by calling them ignorant. She has a right to warn a person if she herself had a bad experience with Accutane. The results remain controversial at best, so to say that it's ignorant for a person to research and study about Accutane themselves is hypocrisy in itself. To research is to acquire knowledge, to be knowledgeble is the exact opposite of being ignorant. Just because dermatologists, (not just doctors,) warn a person about Accutane doesn't mean that it's not essential for you to research the product yourself. Stop being such a lazy fool and get some other feedback from other experts.

I've tried both original brand and generic accutane. I prefer generic accutane - There is no difference in effectiveness as far as I can tell between the brand and generic versions. The real difference is price, no comparison. And this suppliers seem honest and reliable. On the site http://g-isotretinoin.info I've just placed my 3rd order.
Thanks for that address. http://g-isotretinoin.info has my pills within a week at my door. They perfectly work! I have found them very good value for money. My special discount coupon 1VQY12ZPi3

I have been on this from http://g-isotretinoin.info for 3 months now and have noticed a massive improvement of my acne. The acne on my back is practically non existent and the amount on my face has dramatically improved. I got lots of comments today saying how face has cleared up since I last saw these people 2 weeks ago. I now have much less acne on my face and it expected to all be gone in 3 more months forever. I am currently on 60mg a day one at morning and 2 at night and I am a 15 year old female. I have had some back pain when I play my weekly sport and dry lips but that is all the side effects I have had.

I started Accutane when I was 17. My skin looked really bad. I had pimples on my face approaching the size of dimes. The acne went over my shoulders, down the front of my chest and down to the bottom of my back. I tried all the creams and fancy products and nothing worked. My doctor finally put me on a round of Accutane from http://g-acne-treatment.info . The first dose I was on for a couple of months didn't do much, so the doctor doubled it. Within six months, my acne was almost all gone and I stopped treatment. Within 18 months I had zero acne and zero scarring - my skin was utterly flawless and still is. I am now basically cured of acne - less than half a dozen pimples in ten years. Miracle.

I fought with acne throughout my teenage years and tried everything to get rid of it (proactiv, neutrogena, retin-a, clean and clear, you name it). I experienced quite an initial breakout soon after I started accutane but was expecting it and told myself my skin would get better. I’m now in the last week of my treatment and my skin is flawless. I haven’t had a single zit in 3 months, and scars from my previous breakouts are fading. If your in doubt that accutane can solve your acne frustrations, don’t be. Survive the first two months or so of accutane and you will be rewarded with the complexion you’ve always wanted.

Before I went on accutane from http://fastacnetreat.info I had tried EVERYTHING... constant Cremes, Benzyol Proxide, 3 different antibiotics, retin A Creme... you name it I used it. None of these things really worked for me; it would only suppress my acne. BTW.. I should inform everyone on here that I never had awful acne, I had moderately severe acne that I was sick of dealing with. I finally decided to go on accutain and I will admit I was really scared. Thr first two months were rough not going to lie; after those two months my face started looking better and better. Now I have NO acne on my face just a couple on my back... it really is AMAZING. Don't let anyone stop you from taking this medication... it works and no one should suffer with acne!!! I have one more month so lets hope I get 100% clear!! I'm at about 88%

I started on Accutane from MOREPILL .COM on 2nd March and I'm now coming up to finishing my treatment with only 3 weeks left. I genuinely can't express enough how effective Accutane is. My acne was moderate and rather than lesions, etc. I had lots of small spots all over my chin and forehead and beginning to reach out to my cheeks. I went on Duac then oxytetracycline and enthromycin, none of them worked for me! I saw results from Accutane in the first month! My skin did get dry and my lips chapped and flaked badly but if you keep applying E45 and Burts Bees it will keep the flakiness at bay! Honestly I am thankful to Accutane for my new found confidence and I now happily leave the house with no make-up!

Accutane is the best medication on the market in my opinion. Not only am I a pharmacist, but I have taken this medication myself from MOREPILL .COM It WORKS... Before taking Accutane I had the most oily skin. You could literally fry a chicken on my forehead during a hot summer day. By approximately month four my skin had never looked better. Everyone who is struggling with acne should highly consider this medication.
