The FDA really needs to examine the new products that will come out to avoid or prevent anymore diseases that originate from smoking.

The one thing the FDA does not do is protect the public from faulty, fraudulent product. FDA approved and licenced EVERY killer, dangeous product you read about, like MERCK'S VIOXX that killed between 50,000 and 250,000 consumers. What did the FDA do? Let them settled out of court for a fraction of VIOXX profits, and it let MERCK owners and employees walk away without facing criminal charges or prison time. FDA spits on the corpses of the dead and their families.
