I am so happy that they did away with the stainless steel crowns! I remember getting them as a kid. I t used to be that only the best dentist in Phoenix had the equipment to put on the better crowns but now everyone days thank goodness.

Interesting article. I offer children's dentistry ( http://wrightsmiles.com/southlake-gentle-fami... ) and I admit placing a crown is rare, typically we just do the necessary fillings. Very cool!

While my office ( http://drsohl.com ) doesn't offer children's dentistry, I wish more [parents would realize the importance of fillings and other restorations. Just because a baby tooth will eventually fall out, doesn't mean they should be cared for if decay occurs.

Dental problems in children are very common now. The article gives useful information and well-researched data about dental problems. For children, it is always better to take preventive care of their teeth. So parents should follow the healthy eating habits and make children follow them as well. Agreed. Otherwise, tooth decay can lead to an infection that require a restoration or even an extraction ( http://stuartcosmeticimplantdentist.com/2014/... ).
