So the guy couldn't keep 'it' in his pants.

More important matters to investigate. Why waste time and resources on this?

When will high profile men learn there is no fool proven plan to conceal their extra martial affairs. Sooner or later they will be caught. It is shame that extrordinary talents of these people can no longer benefit the public after their sexual misconduct ie revealed. After the when the damage is done, they realize no one will ever see them in a trustworthy and respectful manner. They just can't get it through their thick heads,"tipping with the chicks" just ain't worth it!
Why are you not holding Obama to the same standard?

He resigns cause of an affair, but Eric Holder has committed acts of treason and he won't leave! Go figure.

This man held a post so crucial to American safety and he did it well. The stress a man in that position must be under earns him the right to private indulgence. How is an affair going to effect this mans judgments, if anything the affair can serve to bolster his ego and refine his confidence leading to even better decision making. And don't give me that bull about how if he can lie to his wife he can lie to the American people, because first off his job is to hold back the gritty details of what goes on in his world, and second, we had no qualms about his ability to direct the CIA before the public knew of the affair, hell we praised him.

My problem is the bureaucrats are suppose to be held to the same standard professionally yet they are barely punished for breaking laws or protocols. Since Patraeus had D.O.D. experience he gets slammed, but a politician can get caught screwing whores and no one does anything.

Little chickens on topix will point out this man's flaws and morals for breaking the law, but some will never understand that men in his position before him did worse things. Remember the Secret Service agents acting crazy overseas? That stuff happens way more than some little chicks want to believe.
