The elected leadership of Crestwood should all be put in jail and have ALL their personal and busines assets frozen for all the impending lawsuits. They have knowingly and intentionaly poisened its residents. I can only imagine the liability the Village now faces as a result of their actions. As a resident I am concerned about the long term health affects for my family. Now can you imagine trying to sell your home in Crestwood? What have they just done to the values of our homes? Class action lawsuit? You better beleive it..sign us up!!! Sue the Village and the elected officials personally. The next Village Board meeting is May 7 at 7:30 p.m. I hope they have room for all the people that are going to demand answers.

Village Hall not big enough for meeting. How about hosting it at the Thunderbolt Stadium? Don't the Stranczek's own a piece of that? Maybe Bob's PR team will give us all a free hotdog and beer. P.S. Chester Stranczek: NO POISON IN MY FOXHOLE!

Looks like someone is looking to CYA. Namely the mayor.

Check out what happened over the past 4 decades in Camp Lejuene -

The moral of the story is wake up to your water.

The IL EPA was staffed by Thompson/Edgar/Ryan hires. The mass retirements of the deadwood in 2003 drained the pension fund.

Even if no one was harmed from this water, the mayor knowingly was giving us bad water. He should be jailed for the rest of his life.

I don't know, maybe I would blame the guys that put the poison in the water.

The more I think about this the more angry I become towards Chester and any Crestwood officials that knew about this. My husband had a funky health issue with his bladder that stumped a very seasoned doctor a few years ago and luckily, we caught it early and he appears to be well now. It sickens me to think what could have happened to my husband and to think that my children drank that water as babies. I just don't understand how Crestwood officials could do this and why they would be so stupid to do this!
Kick Stranczek Out

Midlothian, IL

Everyday Robert Stranczek remains mayor of Crestwood is another day that he can destroy evidence, hide information, manipulate people and obfuscate the truth.

Everyday that Stranczek is allowed into his office at city hall is another day that the money and the resources of the village can be used to hire attorneys and public relations firms whose goal it is to distort or to hide the truth.

If the people of Crestwood want to know the truth about what happened to their water and how they were impacted they would kick Stranczek out of office now and take his keys.

He is gathering the employees past and present and trying to get their stories together. The RICO act might very well be applied here. Conspiracy is afoot. Obstruction of justice a foregone conclusion.

We have seen such intimidation in the past.

The Attorney General, the Illinois EPA and the Governors staff should be taking statements yesterday. The US EPA and the United States Attorney General should be looking into this also. These stories are going to change.

As long as Stranczek remains in power he remains in a control position from which he can attempt to derail any investigation that seeks to learn the truth about what happened to the people of Crestwood.

Throw Mayor Stranczek out now! These people knowingly poisoned thousands of people for more than twenty years. Why should they be allowed to spend one more day in office? Why should they be allowed to spend village money in order to keep the truth from the residents
